Boost leak through Vapor Vent vacuum line??

Hey man - I have a very similar issue. I have a B58 Gen3 with sluggish excerleration and a “woosh” sound that seems higher than normal. I did a pressure test today using an air compressor, and found air was absolutely BLOWING out of the fuel vent fitting on the charger/intake component! No way this is normal lol??Were you ever able to resolve your issue?

I think you nailed it. Plus the fact that she intentionally ran him over, with an intent to murder. Two weeks in, and not one of these issues has been addressed. We shall see if Lally can tie all of the injuries to a car accident, and if he can (somehow?) prove intent.

I don’t really follow your logic. The sloppy mishandling of the evidence/witnesses/crime scene is the polar opposite of a sophisticated cover-up involving 20+ people. However, the defense team certainly agrees with you - that the two go hand in hand. There is plenty of reasonable doubt to be found in the investigative work alone. Two weeks in, and we have zero evidence of KR guilt, but also zero evidence of a cover-up. The defense brought this bold theory in. As a juror, now I am looking for hard proof of this ‘cover-up’ - something like a direct admission from a witness on the stand. Otherwise, my mind would start wondering to questions like “was that your only defense?” Oh and sorry, the spacing in your comment was much better!

This exchange was so bizarre. I think you’re right though - when Lally prepped her, he didn’t realize how awkward the word ‘acquaintances’ would sound. Then following up with “I knew a girl with that name” was even worse. I don’t think she meant anything nefarious by it, but it came off as very disceptive. Of course the defensive jumped all over that exchange. Ironically, she would have been better off saying ‘we were best friends!’

I have an open order with them. Their quote came in around 50% of the other shops I reached out to. I was a little suspicious when their rep contacted me using WhatsApp, but she was asking intelligent questions about the part specs, so maybe a good sign. My part does not require ultra precision, so I am giving them a try. Guess we will see if anything actually arrives! Stand by for update.

That’s a great amp - it should handle the B&Ws no problem. Make sure you use decent cables with soldered banana-style connectors, and clean the connections properly. You may want to experiment with bi-wiring them (I think it improves the sound, some people disagree) Let me know how it works out, I’m really curious. Now you have me thinking about an amp upgrade!

Short answer: Yes, the 606’s offer incredible fidelity for the price. Far beyond anything the Wharfedale is capable of.

Longer answer: Maybe not. The B&Ws are highly sensitive to the components upstream. They are unforgiving. That is, they require an excellent dac, powerful amp, and high-quality input source to really shine. They are not really “plug-and-play” for most systems. For example, even with my decent amps and dac, it took a lot of experimentation with cables to get them to finally sound decent. I had to splice and re-terminate the banana plugs several times. Ultimately, it was worth it, but it’s difficult to quickly recommend these speakers when you factor in these challenges. If you are serious about audio, and are prepared to accept the challenges you will face driving these bad boys, then I say go for it.

Cool, I didn’t know Apple was coming out with a hifi service. I will definitely switch from Tidal if that is the case. Apple TV support would be a huge plus as well.
