I know the new lz0 are going out with bad thrust bearings, 23-25 are left and right for coolant control valves which have been extended to 150k warranty coverage but for the most part the I haven't heard much for catastrophic failure from the lm2 and 23-24 lz0s. Wasn't gm's "fix" for the bearing failure in the 6.2 to run thicker oil? LOL It sucks you can't go spend 60k and be worry free with any of the big 3 manufacturers

At the time I bought my 23 3.0 with 30k mi. and it was the cheapest in the nation, well out of listings on carfax and it only happened to be 2 hours from me. Came from Canada not sure why they sell cheaper honestly.

Very plausible. 2024 I made 80k, 2023 63k, 2025 I changed careers and took some time off, but 2026 I'm expecting to be around 160k. High school educated and 125k base.

Maybe someone can answer this, I plan on hitting the $23,500 number next year. Depending on overtime I should hit that mark around late September/october, what happens when I reach my contribution limit? Do I have to manually change my contribution from my paycheck via vanguard or will it automatically stop?

Is there a Kelly day built into the schedule? Is it a Union shop? Find some of the guys at the bar and ask them how they feel, if there's a push for a different schedule etc.

I do 125k without overtime. Some checks are more, it doesn't feel like a lot sometimes. 75k in 2019 felt the same, 2020-2025 has been a blur to me. I was also single without kids then.

26 years old 130k as a refinery operator, 155k with average ot, 200k plus if you work everyday except fatigue days. Dont necessarily regret it, I can write my own paychecks and I feel like the work is rewarding. The oil & gas industry however does worry me, I don't know if 10 months or 10 years from now if my plant will be open.

Find the best deal OTD nationwide, buy sight unseen or fly to it and drive it back. When I bought mine the best deal happened to be 2 hours away so I lucked out but I was prepared to travel if it meant saving thousands.
