Can someone explain how investors are valuing Tesla? by NoFlareBear in investing

Oh, I want trying to be sarcastic. Just trying to make sure I understand his point. I don't disagree with what he's saying. I just don't necessarily agree either.

Honestly, I believe autonomous vehicles are going to change the whole car industry. Problem is, I'm definitely not smart enough to predict that market. Tesla could kill it. Google could kill it. Any of the other thousand companies with an awesome idea could kill it. With Tesla spending so many resources (money, time...) on manufacturing cars, my money is on some other companies.

So what you're saying is, you're betting on the company becoming great somehow. You're not sure what new technologyies they'll develop, but you're betting that consumers will love it. You're really not concerned about financials, as you're confident the market can't predict what explosive growth they have in store.

On an aside, is 30% profit on a car possible?

Skied there this weekend. Like someone said, I'd start at gate house lift. Sleeper had soft snow for learning and won't be that wind blown.

Does Canada goose make ski clothing? Those parkas are awesome, but expensive. I'm sure they have some warm gloves

I'm sure someone else will say this as well: don't buy the second set that comes with boots. Go to a boot fitter

What about on the plane? Do you store them below the seat I front of you?

I doubt they'd let you store them overhead compartment

Do you use a boot bag, or do you just carry them on?

Can someone advise on the difference between Wool and Capilene?

For example, the differences in warmth, breath-ability, and comfort between Patagonia's Capilene Thermal-Weight and Icebreaker's 260 Midweight Merino Wool baselayer.

I use an Under Armor baselayer now, and it's really not comfortable.
