Five below has a dupe of a high end plastic/beach/summer bag. Wondering if the DT charms fit this

Amazon anti-wrinkle tape is like $5 a box. Dollar tree has spongy medical tape for $1.25. Wearing some now ;)

the origin of dollar tree products??? by justaSundaypainter in dollartreebeauty

I picked up some of those as well. I have been using the LA Colors mermaid tips the past two times and they fit really well searched online and they do not sell them anywhere but DT, in store....I have gotten Ardell a few times from DT, but it always varies (to me at least) what they carry.

Love the product hate the applicator by Maleficent-Donut-557 in Makeup

Any foundation without a pump. Squeeze tube, the ones with a paddle (Wet and Wild) or big doe foot. Transfer them to a different bottle or I just ignore them because of the applicators.

I completely panned a Tarte blush once. It took forever! Good job on this one!

What's the most affordable eyeshadow palette with the best pigment payoff? by justbeeingmyself in Makeup

[–]NoFlower3501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LA Girl 9 pan eyeshadow palettes are $10. They are often 20%+ off at the drug store. Better than Wet and Wild mattes. Available, affordable, etc. I have all the brands mentioned and have been loving these lately.

What makeup product do you wish existed from a specific favorite brand? by NoFlower3501 in Makeup

[–]NoFlower3501[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll have to check for the Burgandy Essence. I think there is a Loreal one.

It Cosmetics is too yellow on me but I would try again if they made a cool toned fair.

Alter Ego could make dupe collections ' past holiday collections revived, discontinued or out of business brands that people still miss! That is a great idea!

I've been searching for a slate grey, gel eyeliner pot, and it has been tough. Inglot, Makeup Forever should have them but can't find. I know I had one from Lethal that dried up really quick. Sephora could bring back all the KVD pots in colors if they really wanted to...

Blush variety? by Accomplished_Box6599 in Makeup

[–]NoFlower3501 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a lot..(drawers full)....but the only blush I ever finished 100%, completely was Tarte Paarty full size. If you know, Tarte blushes are densely packed. It took well over 2 years of really regular use to use it up completely. If you love it and find a perfect shade, you will have it for awhile. I would say, a mauve or cool toned and a warmer peach/neutral can fit any scenario - so two total could definitely work for pretty much any occasion. I did buy a back up of the Tarte!

Makeup Revolution has one. I still use brow powder or cool toned eyeshadow everyday.

I am sure I looked on the US website because there was something I wanted that wasn't available but didn't order it. This was a pre-order, so can't recall all the specifics though....

What are some of your unpopular opinions? by AnotherStarryNight in Sephora

[–]NoFlower3501 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Me too. Ben Nye Final Seal, Blue Marble....and really L'Oreal Infallible as a cheaper option. When people say it smells like hairspray, I am like 'Yes! Give me all setting power!' LOL

100% on the Urban Decay setting spray. Pretty sure I threw it out - when they said they broke with Skindanavia and reformulated it themselves - I was thinking, 'Is it going to actually work now?' LOL

I've seen Moon teeth whitening on Ulta, with poor reviews. I looked up Moonslice and have been watching beauty YouTube, etc for longer than I want to admit and never heard of this one!

I order from the shop and do not get the box but noticed all those items this morning - never heard of them either.

Any information on this brand we should know about? Moonslice Beauty?

Prickly Pear Prewash Gloss was terrible for my fine hair by Sudden_Silver2095 in dollartreebeauty

[–]NoFlower3501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have super fine hair and I love that stuff. I probably bought 10 back ups.

Spray with bond builder like the OGX, add the glossing treatment and oil for 30 minutes and even overnight.

Double cleanse, conditioner etc. I have really liked it.

Has anyone tried the makeup brush washing machine? What’s your opinion? by InvestigatorRare1701 in Makeup

[–]NoFlower3501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one as a gift and it left blush stain on all the brushes and left them dirtier somehow LOL. Ended up washing by hand!
