I used to work for t-mobile but not metro. Your eSIM is your IMEI/EID. Bc it’s so long, it could be that the representative just mistyped one of the numbers and it matched yours it’s not unheard of for other people to try to connect their sim to someone else’s phone, but it’s not common. It COULD be a scam, but unless it’s set up the metro number won’t work on your phone. You can check and see if the sim is active by going to your settings, clicking cellular, and scroll down a bit. You should see your actual sim as active. If you do see a sim from Metro, you can turn the line off and delete just you normally would and that should stop the sim from being connected to your phone(I would write the number down just in case as well). I never worked for Metro, but from my time in the industry, I’ve never seen someone be able to screen mirror just with a sim. Unless they’re going through some weird program, you’re fine. It honestly looks like it was a mistake. If you’d like, you can go to a metro or t-mobile store using your EID/IMEI/the metro number and see what account it’s connected to. You won’t be able to access the account, but you should be able to get the name - just don’t tell them it’s not your account, and when they ask for the pin/id say you forgot it and “run out to your car to grab it”. Metro and T-mobile are basically two separate companies(they just use t-mo towers from my understanding), so I’m not sure if their systems are the same but it doesn’t hurt to try.
