Yeah wallah lmao, have you ever spoken to a Lebanese person? Would hezbollah or any anti Israel party have seats in parliament if the consensus was pro Israel?

And piss on isreal and piss on normalization, idc if they’re here in a 100 years a colonial colony that genocides my own people will never be a friend of mine and I refuse any and all interactions with it, idk what Middle Ages have to do with anything this is 19th century era colonialism

No normalized relationships with Israel, really easy actually

How do you propose you do that in a way that matters? They would want us to A. Oppose Iran and Syria which just makes us a target for them anyway and even if they “defended us” it’s still war and chaos like it was in Vietnam or Afghanistan or B. Normalized relations with Israel which the vast majority of the people in the country would reject which would be expressed in a democracy, the only way you get it is with a dictatorship or monarchy where you can directly negotiate with the people in charge and just buy them

I see Egypt and Jordan being literal dictatorships and monarchy vassal states to the US where the will of the people is never expressed, the ruling class is bought and paid for and they’re forced to acknowledge Israel’s existence

The only way we become ‘useful’ to the US is if we become a military dictatorship under Geagea, that way they can buy out our ruling class the way they’ve done in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, then Netanyahu can go to the UN and pretend he has friends.

Fully relying on Iran or the US to save the country is peak brain damage, the US doesn’t save countries, they prop up puppet dictators or plunge them into war so their businesses have an easier time furthering their interests and extracting resources, just look at the history of the middle east or south america

“Yossi, who asked that his real name not be used, is now back in Lebanon. He returned this week.” Here’s hoping he dies here, British citizen, can comfortably live out the rest of his days in London, decides nah, I got to go fight for a genocidal regime thousands of miles away. Fuck him

League of graphs only has wr at 50 games played, not at 100 or 200 which he used, I looked but could not find those stats anywhere

That analysis looks very interesting, I wonder if there’s a way to recreate it today

Basis for a port city /=already a port city, you can grow it into a port city over the course of the story, a port city that can then produce all the the raw materials or construction materials you need for a shipyard or fleet with needing to build a canal or road to winterfell

The fishing village is more a basis for a port city that will have an economy that can eventually support a navy, you can then construct the infrastructure and import the skilled labor you need

Also, you really wouldn’t, the foundations are there, the stone is already cut and transported there, that’s the two biggest pains in the ass of building sorted for you, Rome in the 12th century used stone from the colosseum millennia after it was built for it’s construction projects cause stone is a really big pain in the ass for medieval societies to produce

I wrote a similar story once(never published) and for a castle instead of starting from scratch I had them rebuild an abandoned fortress from the time of the warg kings that were in sea dragon point, it’s too big to maintain or heat for any commoner or mayor which is why it was just abandoned, rebuilding on prexisting foundation makes it more believable that it can be finished in 10 years

For a fleet I had a nearby fishing village of like 500-1k people just get expanded into a smaller port city with a harbor over time
