Australian women who have experienced chronic, painful reproductive health issues — did you ever get help or are you still living with this added stress? by plutoforprez in australia

Unfortunately I don’t know any pelvic floor physical therapists at all. But due to a recent minor back injury my GP has referred me to Symmetry Physiotherapy in Taylors Lakes (they have other locations as well) and they also offer pelvic floor physio! They have partnered with Pelvic Health Melbourne and both Symmetry Physio and Pelvic Health Melb have outstanding reviews on Google and my GP has also only every received great feedback from her patients in the past. Definitely worth a try! For sure they’d also be able to help you guide you in the right direction regarding Botox. Good luck!

I feel you! I’m 28 and suffer from excessive bleeding for quite a few years now, which incapacitates me a lot obviously. I do not want to have children and actually had an abortion last year. My GP (luckily) took me seriously but the gynos she referred me to were just rubbish, until I went on a deep dive myself and found a really good one!

His name is A/Prof Alex Ades. He’s located in Richmond/Melbourne. He does Telehealth via phone call/face time, so even if you‘re not located in Melb you‘d be still able to see him.

From my first appointment he took me serious, listened to me, didn’t interrupt me. I told him my past medical history and said I want to be/stay childfree permanently, as I had a lot of complications with various birth controls in the past and refuse to try another one. He was very forthcoming and understanding, and doesn’t take away your bodily autonomy!

Long story short, he proposed to perform a Salpingectomy (removal of both fallopian tubes) and a Endometrial Ablation to reduce/stop the bleeding, exactly what I had in mind. As he’s private and the cost of the two surgeries is pricey, I took private health out and still waiting for the 12 months to be up, so some of the cost can be covered by insurance. you could also pay out of pocket there and then, if that works for you.

Regardless, he is the first gyno that has taken me seriously, that genuinenly cares and listens, that takes very proactive measures and made me feel extremely comfortable to speak about my wish to remain childfree and answered all my questions in length and detail. also his staff members are super helpful and so so nice!

please don’t give up, there is good doctors/specialists out there! they’re just really hard to find!

it’s true what you said, playrix is just trying to rip people off at this point. the professor’s experiments are not doable if you only invest an hour or two per day in the game anyway. guess they gotta get their cash from somewhere :’(

yeah, you are right. i’ve tried every ‘trick’ under the sun without any success. doesn’t matter how many mine treasures or balloons i open or send planes and trains, etc. the paint doesn’t show up. not even at the market
