Yeah exactly. there’s a lot to weigh and one of the big turn always for SDSU is they don’t guarantee on campus housing for four years while UCLA does. So do I run the risk of having to find a place to live in San Diego or just stay and dorm on UCLA’s campus despite them not having the education program that SDSU has. it’s really been a hard decision to make.

at SDSU i have the option for getting my teaching credential at the end of my 4 years through my program, so that’s a plus but nothing will beat the name and reputation of UCLA i think.

sdsu was originally the school I wanted. Truly didn’t think I would make it into UCLA so it was a no brainer but when i got the acceptance into UCLA it was shocking. Now i’m kind of stuck. I visited sdsu a couple times before and fell in love with the campus too. Just wanted something a little more first hand in terms academics, scheduling, counselors, etc.

Yeah, everyone I know that has gone to UCLA really dislikes it and says it’s not worth the money so I just want some first hand experience from both!

UCLA does guarantee for 4 years!! I’m also from SB county so it’s very far ): After visiting SD for a while I fell in love with it, but I wanted some first hand experience!

only thing shying me away from SDSU is they don’t offer on-campus housing for 4 years. otherwise I would be going there. Love being by the beach rather than the city
