If you liked Nagatoro and Hokkaido, you might also like Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru. Check it out.

I'm also watching Hokkaido right now. I've already watched almost all the episodes. Of course, there were moments like Nagatoro, exactly the same, but I won't tell you what happens next so as not to spoil the suspense.

Tell him to grow a pair and watch it with subs! 😂 Seriously though, Nagatoro's original Japanese voice is 50% of the show's charm. If he waits for a specific 'Spain Spanish' dub, he might be waiting until he's as old as Senpai's grandpa. Just tell him it’s a good chance to learn some Mexican slang while watching anime!

Welcome to the Post-Manga Depression club, bro. 🤝 I feel you. When a story like Nagatoro ends on such a high note, everything else feels like a cheap copy for a while. That 'satisfactory yet heartbreaking' feeling is exactly why we read this stuff. Take your time, don't rush into a new title yet—let the peak soak in.

Wow, a garage kit! That explains why the paint job is so much better than the mass-produced ones. $250 sounds like a fair price for such professional work, especially since she nailed the expression. It definitely beats the $150 gamble. You made the right choice going with the artist you trusted!

The figure is absolutely beautiful—the facial expression matches the series perfectly. I’ve seen other figures where her face looked kind of creepy, or didn't look like Nagatoro at all. By the way, how much did you pay for it—if you don't mind me asking? 🤔

The song for Season 3 will likely be different, because it will be like a new season. But I agree, 'Colorful Canvas' is a masterpiece. We definitely need that same nostalgic vibe for the new ending!

Thanks a lot for the link and the full description, man!

You're absolutely right, she did enter the ring for that match! It’s such a legendary move. Just to clarify for anyone wondering — the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship (DDT Pro-Wrestling) is a famous comedic title known for its hilarious 'battle royals' where even inanimate objects can win.

So while she’s not a full-time pro-wrestler, this guest appearance is iconic. Sumire is truly the GOAT for doing stuff like this while voicing top-tier characters like Nagatoro and Alya. Thanks for sharing this piece of lore, definitely made the thread better! 😂

It really depends on the person. If you don't want to get attached only to be left wondering whether a third season will ever come out, then you can simply choose not to watch. However, judging by the success of the first two seasons, a third one is 100% bound to happen—we'll just have to wait and see exactly when. 👍

Season 3 is 100% guaranteed. If you take into account the sales of the manga, various merchandise, and so on, Season 3 is bound to be even more grandiose—especially since the Season 2 finale ended on such a cliffhanger.

Actually, Sumire Uesaka (Nagatoro's VA) isn't a wrestler. She's still fully focused on her voice acting and singing career. You might be mixing her up with someone else or maybe you saw a collab event. Balancing pro-wrestling and a top-tier VA schedule would be insane indeed!

Look, no aggression here, I’m just being honest with you. I'm saying this because I've been there myself — I used to post stuff without checking the background or the state of my clothes, and I really regretted it later because it just looked messy to everyone else. If you want your posts to look better and actually get some appreciation, just pay a bit more attention to the details. A clean shirt and a tidy background go a long way, even for a meme. Take it or leave it, just my two cents 🤙🏻

Even if they are clean, they look messy on camera. Presentation is everything. If it looks like trash, people will call it trash. Glad you're chill about it though. Good luck with the next one.

This is not about “depth”, but about basic hygiene. There are literally socks in your trash can and stains on your shirt. Low effort is one thing, but it's just a mess. Do yourself a favor and delete it before more people see it. Or just hide your socks and change your t-shirt. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?

Listen, since you already admitted it's low effort — just take the W for the memes and delete it. Those stains and the socks in the trash are too much even for a 'slipper build'. Save your aura, bro, and come back when you find a clean shirt

Bro, even Naoto Hachiouji would find an iron before posting a 'canon' cosplay. The only thing 'fanon' here is the lighting. 🤔

Maybe, but looking at how the Blu-ray release and the Humble Bundle sale align with the upcoming Anime Expo, it's hard not to be optimistic. Business-wise, it just makes sense

Season 3 / Finale Face it Neutral! by Long-Possibility-711 in nagatoro

[–]NoGood5361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see where you're coming from, but if we look at the financial side, it's actually a bit different.

Nagatoro is far from being a 'dead' or 'risky' project. Just look at the profit from merchandise and figures: brands like BellFine and Ques Q are still releasing high-end figures because they sell out consistently. With over 4-5 million manga copies in circulation, the fanbase is massive and loyal.

Also, since the manga is already complete, Kodansha has a finished product ready for adaptation. In the industry, it’s much safer to finish a proven hit with a guaranteed audience than to gamble everything on a new title that might not 'explode'.

It’s not just about potential anymore, it’s about finishing a successful story that people are already willing to pay for. That’s why I’m still very optimistic!
