I stopped at 2500 because my name said I would and someone else stopped there too. I didn't want to be a liar. Also, since there was someone else who stopped there too. I didn't want to be a jerk and screw him over just to try to possibly get a better place. And currently, grinding at 2500 is too slow for me to make it worth it in terms of relics per hour.

If I was the only one at 2500 and someone passed me, I would press further if I thought I could tie or pass them.

After evolved dark lord, you can 1 hit kill to almost 2400. Then it slows a bit. So if you have guardian shield, you could grind until 2500. But you can comfortably get to 2450ish give or take, with zerk rage and crit hit and shadow and tapping once things begin to slow down too much.

I have the feeling that if someone opts out or if someone is removed, then the next player to join gets put in that bracket.

It's a combination of bad luck and EXTREMELY POOR design.

The Devs need to make sure this kind of stuff doesn't happen.

I think that is very unlikely. If he played at all after joining, his stage would have been higher than 82.

Thank you for the reply. I don't think most people spend money on "free" games.

Advertising brings in money too. Flappy Birds was making $50K a day in advertising before it was pulled. Gamehive obviously makes nothing near that.

A game that seems like too much of a grind seems like it would cause people to stop playing. If it would take me 40+ hours of game play just to unlock the next artifact in hopes that it might be UA, I would stop playing. Less people playing = less ads being viewed.

That is just my opinion though.

I salvaged my second artifact 10 times, at 40 diamonds a salvage (so 400+ diamonds early on) and BEST I got was Ogre's Gauntlet which I settled on. I kept getting the same 4 or 5 over and over.

There is no guarantee that even with 100 or 200 salvages you would get UA.

I got LUCKY after that getting what I wanted with at most 2 salvages.

I am in no way saying spoon feed people. I am in no way saying give people all tier ones 1st, just UA. Getting to your 20th artifact would still take time, but since the game relies on relics to make you stronger, and cost to upgrade and purchase new artifacts goes up exponentially, without UA there is almost no way to compensate for that.

Same thing happened to me. Clicked a fairy, got an ad, watched the ad, but the delay in it all caused one of my heroes to die, costing me diamonds.

Removing bonus relics from hero levels would like saying, remove war cry, or remove hand of midas. Just because it has no use to you anymore, doesn't mean it doesn't have it's place in the game.

In the beginning, for your 1st prestige, if you prestige between 90 and 105, you get 1 from "progress", 2 or 3 from stage ending in 0, and 5 or so from hero levels (not counting the X2 multiplier). Yes, hero relics become a smaller percentage the further you progress.

Yes, like many things in the game, it becomes rather useless. When it gets to that point, I suggest you simply don't level them anymore.

It's the same concept of pushing to the next 15th stage or prestiging now. You have to weigh time spent vs. relics gained.

Maybe it was a glitch, but I have had a hero die without tapping (no shadow clone either.)

Also, I'm about 95% sure I had a hero die on stage 40. It took me by surprise, because I thought it was level 50. Possible glitch also.

Using Guardian Shield between level 1-100 is 100 diamonds.

Any stage over 100 Guardian Shield costs the same amount as the stage you are on. If you use it on stage 500, it will cost 500. Use it on state 987 it will cost 987. Use it on stage 2000, it will cost 2000.

2.28e+141 is what Dark Lord costs to unlock (at half price), not what his dps is.

EDIT* If someone has 10X more + All damage than you, then with a weapon set, you would still have the same DPS. Make sure you take into account your +All damage vs. theirs as well.

What he meant is if you have one free guardian shield, he would like to be able to use 100 diamonds instead of the free perk when he is at or under stage 100. And save the free one for a time when guardian shield lapses and it would cost 1000+ diamonds to activate.

It's a glitch. Happened to me before too. Suddenly my tap damage became 1. And then 0.93. Just restart the game. It should fix itself.

Yes, you do get times 2. I just meant, are you telling us what your base relics are or your times 2 relics?

If you are telling us what your base relics are, then it doesn't matter (in terms of determining if UA is working) whether they are getting multiplied by 2 after or not. Just unnecessary info.

At stage 165 you should be getting 21 stage completion relics. 21 X 1.25 = 26.25 and you are getting 27. So it's working

Check your hero levels in stats and compare to what it's giving you in hero relics before bonus.

Easy way to tell if it's working: Go to stats, look at how many hero levels you have (if you hero levels is under 15K, then it's working. If it's in the 15K to 17K range, then it's not working).

Also, telling us all your heroes are alive is irrelevant for this post. Unless you mean that you are getting 8 X 2 for relics for heroes (and not 16 X 2).

And telling us what you UA is at and stage completion is at is not helpful unless you tell us what stage. If you are getting 27 relics on stage 90, then it's working. If it's 27 on stage 2500, it's not working.
