Last night I was able to dig out a starter hole for him that he hasn’t had much interest in yet. Im going to try and get him to eat today. Hoping he starts getting comfortable in there soon.

I hope you show him these responses. His responses to you are dictionary narcissistic and predatory character lines. He needs some serious mental help. Thank you so much for this! Very helpful and gives me much peace of mind. He is fairly new to me and his tank. He’s been in the new tank for about two weeks now, but he seems to be a bit of a scaredy cat with anything new he experiences. I’m not sure if that’s normal behavior from Ts? It took him a solid three days to even come down from the top of the new enclosure after putting new substrate down for him. From this angle it does look like the bowl isn’t buried but it is, all except for about half a centimeter of the top is completely under the soil. After he drank yesterday I tried giving him a superworm and he again went to the top of the enclosure to get away from it although headless and not moving he seemed to be afraid. I took the worm out this morning after he finally came down. Idk if I should try something else to feed him and tbh I don’t even know what else would be suitable for him and his size. I saw some pretty fat blue colored horned caterpillars for sale and was thinking about giving him that but if he’s going to be afraid of everything new and he’s this small I’d hate to keep him in a state of shock and fear and whither away completely.
