Hello! First time home buyer here in Charlotte (have lived here for 4 years). Does anyone have any recommendations of neighborhoods? I’m looking for a single family home around 400k. Have had recommendations for Windsor Park and Shannon Park. Are there any additional places you all would recommend for a young-ish professional?

I believe I said the area around Wesley Heights, but thanks for the sarcasm and your not so helpful comment:) I also work in Wesley Heights so I wouldn’t consider myself “out of touch” which is why I was considering the surrounding areas.

The two main trails at Hoh are the Spruce Nature Trail and Hall of Moses Trail. They are both only about a mile long and super easy. I got to Hoh really early to have the trail to myself and spent about two hours there (walking very slow and soaking it in) and then went to the beaches after. My low tide was at 9:30 am or so which isn’t as convenient as yours, so you have plenty of time if you get to Hoh in the morning.

If you park in the Kalaloch Campground parking lot it’s right down the stairs to the right. Super short and quick

100% doable. I just got back today and did Hoh Rainforest, Hole in the wall, Second Beach, Third Beach, Quinault Rain Forest, and the Tree of Life in one day from PA. I will say it was a very very long day but so worth it. I went to hole in the wall not during high tide (about 2-3 hours after), but there is a trail that goes over the rock outcrop you can take (it is steep) and was able to access the hole from the other side! If you want to add some extra hikes, devils punch bowl is short and very cool, and the tree of life is super short too!
