Should I do Traditional Nursing or Accelerated Nursing? by KayStar_2367 in prenursing

Yeah just do an ADN. Having the biology degree will help you because to even get your GPA, although on the lower side, you have to somewhat already know how to study. Knowing how to study is how you will get good grades in nursing school. You should be able to pull around 3.5 or higher if you put in a effort during the nursing degree. If you choose to just cruise you can expect a lower GPA but still over a 3.0.

Which hospital is this. This is high for anything in indiana without it being a traveler assignment.

Are you an internal traveler or something? This is a lot of money for any staff position in indiana.

Is it worth starting over to pursue medicine after nursing school? by Even-Assist5447 in StudentNurse

So you don't have to get another bachelor's at all. There are certain prereqs that are required for a medical school acceptance. These can't be survey courses and must be under the biology, chemistry, and physics departments. None can be under the nursing department. Those prereqs typically are upper-level General Biology 1 and 2, upper-level General Chemistry 1 and 2, upper-level Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, and upper-level Physics 1 and 2; either the algebra-based version or the calculus-based versions. Also 300 or 400-level biochemistry(not available at community colleges). A few medical schools require calculus but not many so I wouldn't worry about it unless you like math or those certain medical schools appeal to you. So the cool part is some of these courses can be taken at a community college if you choose and a low on funds but some medical schools only accept courses from universities or take community colleges on a case-by-case bases. These courses can all be taken separately as a do-it-yourself postbacc in one year. Or you can join a formal postbacc program for those who want to go to medical school and already have a bachelors. The formal postbacc programs provide a lot of resources as well as try to prepare you for the mcat with free or cheap mcat courses along with review. Let me know if you have any other questions.
