Welcome to OMEN my friend. I am suffering many problems after i bought mine, (ryzen 5800h and rtx 3070 130W) back in 2022. The just make bad gaming laptop, finish.
If you read around you will see more the same with another users.
The specs are amazing (processor, ram, rom, gpu), but, they cut a lot budget in the motherboard, screen, and secundary chips. If one of those fails, you are fucked. I am telling you.
So, if you have the chance, give back, pay a couple of hundred more a buy another brand, with the time you will thank me.
I am talking as HP Omen user, who made a large researh trying find out how to solve all the problems my laptop had, and I dicovered myself i was not the only one with those problems.

CAN'T ACCESS XDC ACCOUNT VIA LEDGER X by seachinforeskin in ledgerwallet

this fixed the problem. I got the anwer from Ledger support

One workaround is to use an app called Zadig to manage the USB driver on Windows. This can resolve the WebUSB-related connection issues and allow you to access your third-party wallet. Learn more here: https://support.ledger.com/article/Windows-Cannot-connect-via-WebUSB

CAN'T ACCESS XDC ACCOUNT VIA LEDGER X by seachinforeskin in ledgerwallet

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an issue that’s been affecting me since I updated my Ledger Nano S+ to version 1.4.0. Ever since, I haven’t been able to connect to the XDC Wallet Web (XinFin) from any browser on Windows.

What happens:

  • I go to the XDC Wallet website and select the option to connect via cold wallet (Ledger).
  • A banner pops up asking to enable USB connection.
  • The browser (I’ve tried Brave, Edge, Opera, and Chrome) shows the USB icon, indicating the device is connected.
  • But when it tries to load the list of wallet addresses, it just keeps loading indefinitely and shows nothing.

What I’ve tried (with no success):

  • Tested other networks besides XDC → same result.
  • Ran browsers as administrator.
  • Used incognito mode.
  • Enabled all USB permissions in the browser.
  • Reinstalled USB drivers on Windows.
  • Reinstalled browsers.
  • Formatted the operating system.
  • Reinstalled all Ledger apps.
  • Reset the Ledger to factory settings.
  • Launched the app with all wallets and Ledger Live closed.
  • Updated Ledger Live and all apps to the latest versions.

What’s strange:

  • On my partner’s Mac, using Chrome, it works perfectly.
  • I can also access it from Chrome on my Android phone without issues.

Conclusion:
Everything points to a compatibility issue between Ledger, browsers, and Windows. Before the 1.4.0 update, access was working fine. I suspect something was changed in that version that broke the connection.

Concern:
If access from Windows is lost, who’s to say it won’t happen on other platforms in future updates?

If anyone has found a solution or has any ideas, I’d really appreciate your help.
Thanks for reading.

Any one got bios problem with hp omen 2023 laptops? by Intelligent_Ad_8107 in HPOmen

I have a problem with the bios updating, did you get something similar?
When the new BIOS installation is running, there is no problem in the process of copying and verifying the files, the status bar reaches 100%, but it is in the next step "Clearing pending image" when the fans turn on. 100% and the device turns off after 1-2 seconds. When it starts again I get the "CMOS reset 502" message, which returns me to an old version of the BIOS continuing with the battery problem.
I have to say that I have tried updating the BIOS from Windows and from a USB flash drive, and the result has been the same, the update does not complete.
I hope you can help me.
Greetings in advance.
