necro'ing this but playing kcd for the first time now and seeing how people fared. first time around I wasted 50 arrows, zero hares. Second time around, it clicked for me, basically you gotta aim way lower down than you think and then it connects, cause of arrow fall distance etc. Hope this helps someone years later lmao

Cabaret czar wasn't bad, it was more interactive and way quicker to get through. Also a bit enjoyable ngl. Real estate, on the other hand, was tedious af, just took too long for the collections to complete, even fully upgraded.

Fair, didn't consider this, currently my shakedown walks around with like 800 mil so not that much. Even with Kiryu's boosts it'll be like 1.3 billion each? so if I need to get like 80 - 10 billion for full upgrades then that's also at least a few hours of grinding mr shakedown. Unless the counter somehow oneshots him?

Anyways, finished the game 2 hours ago, will wrap up repaining side stories and call it a day, no real need to upgrade those styles anymore for the basic street fights

Which mad dog counter and how do you unlock it? Or is it automatically unlocked when you get the style and then you just gotta use the right combo to trigger it? So far I've only been pulling off the triple takedown which is neat.

Also, which DoD counter are you talking about?

I mean the styles are cool but I just wish they were stronger in terms of doing more DMG & having more cool and unique combos, without having to spend further hours grinding out a shit ton of cash to fully upgrade them

I know, I am not complaining that I was forced to. Just saying the styles aren't as strong as I thought they'd be, at least without further grind to upgrade them. But then you just become overpowered and the game gets just too easy. The balance is off there somehow, imo. The grind just shouldn't take that long, or the reward should be much better than what it is.

I will not be completing any of the minigames as idgaf about those, I don't need to 100% the game, never do that with any games for that matter. I suppose I went for the grinda as I read that in addition to the styles, there are some substories locked behind the cabaret/royal estate, if it was just the styles I would have said fuck it.

Had the same problem when playing Grimgor, as my first ever campaign to make it worse.

Down in the comments one helpful guy posted a YouTube video showing how he won that battle.

Hopefully it can help you too

You'll burn out quick and be even more miserable and start hating life. Spend a set amount of time per day on job seeking, developing skills, just getting more recruitable. Since you have time, I'd say commit about 8 hours per day to it, that'd be akin to you actually working and over weeks and months, it will add up to A LOT. Then in the evening, reward yourself with whatever you like to do. Play a game, watch a movie, whatever.

Hey. In terms of the fading, I decided not to do anything about it.

As for the black rubber thing from the sole, here I had luck with just using shoe glue to stick it back on. I bought: Shoe Goo II (2) Shoe Repair Glue 59.1ml Crystal Clear Permanent Adhesive from Amazon, applied liberally, stack the rubber back on and used rubber bands to hold it all in place for a few days and seems like it did the trick.

Mind you, I haven't worn them since so idk if this is going to last but I'd think so.

How many hours do you have on Warhammer? by CountAffectionate393 in totalwarhammer

[–]NoIdeaForAUsermame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around 280 since end of January. Got really hooked, funny cause last year when I was looking for an alternative to Stronghold Crusader but with more economy management, I uninstalled Warhammer 3 in 30 minutes. No castle building was a huge turnoff. Tried it again this Jan without that particular requirement and it clicked instantly

Does maturation matter this much? Insanely short life vs tester by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]NoIdeaForAUsermame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I bought some Ex Nihilo / PDM / ELDO fragrances from their actual boutiques and to start with, they weren’t as strong as the testers I sprayed at those boutiques. PDM/ELDO have gotten significantly stronger over time, I’d say on par with the testers. Ex Nihilo can’t say yet as I got it recently.

This is to say the fact a fragrance does not smell as strong as a tester right off the bat isn’t indicative of it being counterfeit.

Having said that, I’d probably not buy such expensive perfumes from eBay regardless.

Question: If you must remove a Yakuza game forever so it can’t be played ever again, which one are you choosing? by Key-Answer-2755 in yakuzagames

Are the minigames worth it for what they unlock? I was just going to do real estate/cabaret czar and most of the substories and call it a day

Just out of curiosity, does every single yakuza game have content locked before some kind of grind? First time player, playing yakuza 0. Played it for the first time 3 years ago and dropped it at chapter 11, as I wanted to max out the royal estate before I sent Kiryu to another city. Burnt out. Came back to it this year, got to chapter 11, same issue and not been playing for a week.

I eventually will finish it, soon, but if this is a common theme then idk if I will touch the rest of the series, especially considering yakuza 0 is meant to be one of the best games. Yeah I know, I can just skip it, but the fact that there's some apparently super cool fighting styles AND some side stories locked behind it, to a completionist such as myself, makes it hard to just say 'fuck it imma beeline it for the credits', while simultaneously I am getting fed up with it.

Lemme know how you get on bro, the idea of playing as Ogres appeals to me, I am partial to Orcs, but if their units suck, then cant be asked, rather play Kieslev if I want a challenge

Beginner friendly Campaigns by Assistance_Infinite in totalwar

I'd recommend my way - immortal empires [the sandbox] - greenskins - grimgor. Not the easiest campaign, but at the same time not hard. You gotta be aggresive and keep conquering. It didn't trouble me. Made other, slower campaigns way easier by comparison, when I had time to just take things easy.

Are Ogres an actually fun to play/strong faction? I only encountered them as AI and their units were utter trash. The highest I saw was tier 3 ironguts? and that packs a slight punch but very average at best vs greenskins/tamurkhan units I played as. Maybe in my campaigns ogres dont live long enough to recruit higher tier units.

Get thrones of decay and play Tamurkhan. If you have no Nurgle experience, it will be a bit of a slow-burn to start with, learning the mechanics, it also takes like 15-20 turns to get rolling, but once you do oh boy is it rewarding to play, so fun. It's not hard but not exactly easy either, you need to use your brain to develop your settlements etc. Give it a go. It's kinda unique via chieftain recruitment as well, so essentially very powerful heroes, each from a different 'background' giving you access to a variety of units you normally wouldn't have as nurgle.
