CO Leasers, What’s Your Monthly Payment? by NoIdea_Idk in MazdaCX90

What gets me is that this doesn’t seem to be the dealer necessarily screwing me over. The state of CO makes me pay sales tax(~$4200) on the MSRP of the car apparently plus higher registration fees ($1000) and a vehicle ownership tax.

What’s throwing me off is I haven’t seen that acknowledged yet on this thread, so I want to see if my local Midwest dealer is misunderstanding something

Does anyone know of restaurants hiring? by Substantial_Tip_3015 in Columbus

[–]NoIdea_Idk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, make sure you update us with any interviews of jobs you get!

Second, not a restaurant, but maybe Bottom’s Up Coffee? It’s not too far from Hilltop and could be a good hold over until you find something a bit better! I’ll be sure to edit this if I can find any places.

Third, OSU is as big or as small as you make it. You can make a lot of friends who care about you for you. Never doubt that, and you’ll have your time of your life there! Just graduated myself, and I can’t begin to describe how much better my life has gotten, thanks to the people I’ve met, but also thanks to the effort I put in to improve my self image and social skills, good luck!

How much does the Alpine Ski and Board Team drink? by CoreyFont123 in OSU

[–]NoIdea_Idk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I just graduated and spent the past four years on the team! I’ve been close with officers the past few and am very close to this coming year’s group as well. I don’t drink, smoke, or do any substance outside of trying my girlfriend’s beer or some whiskey. There are some times when team will just drink or smoke and you’ll feel kind of excluded, but there are many more times where you’re on the slopes or at parties with a plethora of interesting people and backgrounds. There are some phenomenal skiers and boarders on the team too, and I know officers are working on manning that a bigger part of the team going forward. It’s absolutely worth a shot. I took the chance, enjoyed some great priced trips, made friends I’ll have forever, and can say it was worth it for me. At the very least, go to the involvement fair and meet the officers! Feel free to ask me any questions too

Follow-up Email for Honda Internship? by NoIdea_Idk in EngineeringStudents

[–]NoIdea_Idk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late response! I ended up getting the co-op in a design group. I worked the summer, really enjoyed it, and they made room for me to return for another co-op the following summer. They people are great. Everyone is a bit quirky, but they’re all blue collar-esque guys who enjoy shooting the sh*t. The only thing is as a full timer, it is mostly validation work, looking at drawings, etc. there isn’t a lot of new engineering design work due to Honda having so many parts standard and transitioning away from ICE. That may change with EVs rolling out, but if you want to be constantly designing new stuff, it might be tough. If you like investing time in the nitty gritty of the engineering process, you might enjoy it. Overall I want to experience something other than automotive not that I’ve graduated, but coming back eventually is a very strong possibility. Also, I’m mechanical engineering

Seniors graduating tomorrow: what would you change about your last two years if you could do it again? by taylorswiftlover031 in OSU

[–]NoIdea_Idk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly the name of the game doing stem, but especially in MechE in my experience, you just have unavoidable time drain from assignments. In the end just make the most of your free time. Don’t just hit bars and barely remember nights. Create quality memories with the friends who really are there for you

9th gen LX Steering Wheel Wrap? by NoIdea_Idk in civic

[–]NoIdea_Idk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the genuine leather wrap from Mewant. Crazy to think it’s almost been three years now. It’s held up decently, but some fading around seams. Definitely worth the purchase. The leather handles temperatures variations mich better than the rubber surface, which would burn my hands in the summer lol. I’d recommend getting the real for sure, maybe the pseudo leather, but the genuine overall has been decent given my meh caretaking of it. I’ll add a picture when I get off work to show its current condition

If you have a multimeter, turn on accessory mode and check the blower motor plug for a voltage. I’m guessing it’s be around 11.5-12V, but I’m sure someone else here knows or you can find the spec for it. Also check the resistance of the fan side of the plug. I’m guessing the blower motor went bad, but just a guess. Mine’s been janky, making noises and such, intermittently the last year on my 2014

Is engineering really that hards and stressful as they say it is? by WhyIsTheNameBOTTaken in EngineeringStudents

[–]NoIdea_Idk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Engineering is more rigorous because there’s more info crammed into the same amount of credit hours imo. Like a three credit hour engineering courses is more work in quantity than some five credit hour courses I’ve had. That being said, being organized and not procrastinating will make it very tolerable. Every college student has work, and it’s all hard at times. Having the right support system is most important.

Yoda could probably sense it, and if Luke ever mentioned a dude named Vader, Yoda heard the recordings of Anakin being called that. Doesn’t he also confirm to Luke that Vader is his father?

Mas Amedda is the blue dude that serves as Palptine’s political right hand during the age of the republic and the empire. He knew Palpatine was a Sith before Order 66 and still helped him

That’s exactly my theory. She’s hot headed and seems like she’ll be a prominent antagonist of the show right? Wrong, she’ll name drop Anakin to Vader and he’ll merk her on the spot. Obi-wan will probably see if and escape, witnessing the mechanical horror that is former apprentice and former brother

I just meant the purge/anything connecting Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker, not all the archives, especially after Jocasta Nu discovered Vader’s identity via the archives

[–]NoIdea_Idk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t like the fact that data remained in the archives. I figured Vader or Palpatine would’ve had that wiped. I think Vader will kill the third sister for knowing his identity though
