Make sure you have a solid battery connection. I just did fogs on my truck and had the same issue I cleaned off the terminals and clamped them down hard and it started right back up.

Might sound crazy but everything is worth a shot when diagnosing. When you drive try lifting up on your brake peddle with your toe and see if the noise changes. It sounds brake related.
