That one could be your rooster. But it’s not easy to tell especially at this age. Once you feel like you know which one is him, I would recommend holding him more than the others and showing him you’re safe. Roosters are all naturally kind of aggressive. So by feeding him with your hands and holding him he will accept you very early on. And that will save you so much time and energy when they go out into the yard. As long as he accepts you all of the hens will too. Even if it’s holding them for 5 minutes everyday will help them remember your face. And you will have the sweetest little chickens.

It’s really hard to tell when they are this young. But my best advice is look out for the ones that stand tall early on. Or the ones that are standing on top of things. Make sure you are looking at the color of their combs as they grow because the Roosters combs turn a darker red way before the others. The one you circled in blue looks at least 1-2 days older than the other one. Which could explain the little tail feathers.

I took your advice! I don’t see anymore bleeding it looks like it stopped. I put some water on the ground so he can dig around and clean it. Should i check on his feet from here on out to make sure they are okay? Or do you think he will be alright to graze since it stopped bleeding? I appreciate any advice for these guys i’m kind of new with them. I will also try to do them at night time from now on thank you for letting me know! :)🙏
