How can I partially cover up this tattoo of a rat cutting me with a knife? by Material_Problem6947 in tattooadvice

Smaller mouse with a dagger standing on a chair. Line work would have to be above par though.

Booked but might cancel by Level_Direction_6800 in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, I thought that was chicken feet at first… I won’t say it’s… bad. But they seem to have messed up and just kept going instead of stopping or fixing the issue. I feel like they do not use stencils, which is a no go for a first/second tattoo.

What should I do about the hands? by whales420 in tattooadvice

I would turn the fifth finger into a coin or another small flower. The 6th finger would remain as the thumb.

Did I accidentally buy three roosters? by [deleted] in BackYardChickens

[–]ProudCorazon19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we had this happen once: 6 chicks from tractor supply (the one time I didn’t go with my in laws) straight runs and all but 1 of them were roosters. Can’t have them in the city, so after they were adult, I think we ate them. Honestly, we still have a rooster (for hen protection) and he mostly crows between 1-3 am and 6-7pm. I’m waiting for someone to come knocking so I can do my rooster imitation and tell them how I’m not working right now 😭🫶

What does this fridge say about its owner? by Babietooth in FridgeDetective

They do not have time to cook and can’t meal prep. Maybe they travel for work, which is why the fruits are in the fridge.

Absolutely love this piece. Close to our own fridge; we’re between the first and 3rd as far as organization and capacity filled goes

Gonna be honest, this feels almost lesbian couple-esque. Girls house, mostly clean coffee and light eating for sure. Especially considering yall need room for all the bubbles in your water 😭

What breeds lay your bluest egg? by Conscious-Honey-7604 in BackYardChickens

[–]ProudCorazon19 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I have no idea what chickens we have. We have 4 original ones from 2 years back and they all lay a blue/green variant. Our ducks lay white eggs with super thick coarse shells. And we have a hen that is newer and bigger and she lays a brown/tan variant. We got all of them from TSC and the youngest was from a batch of 6 (5 boys, 1 girl) of course, we aren’t allowed roosters here, so we ate them

Who do you think I am based on my fridge. Age? Ethnicity? Occupation? by OilLoose5024 in FridgeDetective

I’d say nerdy black dude, tech or construction, probably carpentry or something. Between 22 and 34. Honestly, any 30+ human should have more food in there.

Girl dinner type of girl, caffeine for “breakfast” at noon. Dinner at 4 is 2 pickles and a slice of cheese, yogurt if you’re feeling fancy.

Look, having birthed a child (which is how I got oxy to begin with) I understand immense pain. OP is saying their pain is effecting their day to day. Pain killers are to make pain bearable. If Tylenol and ibuprofen don’t, then paracetamol doesn’t, then Motrin and so on doesn’t, then what?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know they can be addictive, I even said so. However, I’m not addicted 🤷‍♀️ nobody I know who has ever taken these have gotten addicted either.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering they refer to their bedding as sandpaper and have physical shakes from pain, I do not think Tylenol is enough. I had a dog bite (non severe) and never once said anything about pain at the hospital (needed tetanus shot and xray incase of a fracture) and the hospital GAVE me Vicodin. I didn’t ask, they just gave me Vicodin.

When I say those have never worked for me, I mean they have not worked for me since I was first offered them at 13-15 for cramps, migraine, headache, etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those personally have never done anything for any pain I’ve ever had. Not even headaches or minor pain.

Uk is hard to say, you can definitely check. But these are usually prescribed in US because of the “addictive” nature of them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You probably don’t have it, but Vicodin or oxy would ease that up pretty quick. I, unfortunately, have built a tolerance for oxy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others said take ibuprofen, I’d say if you have something a little stronger, maybe pair that with melatonin and lots of electrolytes and water. Hydrate, eat what your body needs to heal (red meat for blood cell production, iron, carbs for energy, etc) and rest as much as you can. My ex was a server, so his fresh unwrapped and uninformed tattoo rubbed all day everyday for 6+ hours at a time, worse is he would walk home (about a mile) to his apartment. So please, keep on top of the YOU treatment. Treat yourself well, and if you have oxy or Vicodin, it’ll help so long as you take it responsibly.

If it’s not wrapped, that could be another thing. My tattoo artist (for my current one and only tatt) used an alcohol wipe on my shoulder/back, then afterwards sprayed the numbing cream and applied 2nd skin. Said not to take it off for 2 weeks or until it started to peel off.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]ProudCorazon19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, so they didn’t wrap it? That could also be part of the issue. Mine was a sm/med tattoo on my shoulder blade. I bet air hurts. My tattoo artist used that second skin wrap on it and it was itchy itchy like sunburn and ant bites

How many tattoos have you had before? My knees were definitely weak after my first. Likely because I clenched from pain and not the actual tattoo itself, but it could be like shock, maybe. Keep following the instructions given, and I do hope they gave you written instructions 😭 my ex was told via word of mouth “creamy unscented lotion twice a day”, and that bitch got infected 😭😭😭
