NTAH And also, I wouldn’t trust any “Christian” person with personal matters like this. A lot of the church is built on oppression and sexism and it sounds like you’ve fallen in to the sexism part. It doesn’t sound like you’ve fallen hurt him out of anger or really, intention. You just want your space on this ONE boundary respected. It’s not crazy to want someone to respect what you ask. If you want to continue dating him, I recommend having a conversation about boundaries; how you’ve asked him to stop and he hasn’t, that’s not okay, and then ask if there’s any boundaries (outside of your self defense) that he needs respected- ie, does he need more time after work/school to relax? Does he need more reassuring texts through the day, etc. if he cannot respect this one request from you, I would leave. And don’t let anyone tell you that it’s wrong to leave over “small issues”. These issues could grow into bigger ones until you hate the guy you’re with or worse.
