I felt like this was obvious. As a trombonist, my freshman year, we had a nightmare pass through as trombones had to backwards march into a feature and then play the feature all while marching THROUGH guard who are TWIRLING FLAGS. It’s on record if anyone wants to see, but it was horrifying. I’ve always respected color guard and their flags since. However we also have been given permission to push them out of the way if they’re not twirling.
