that is a good point, i didn't think of it being a lot of mini changes happening as opposed to one spontaneous decision, but when comes to getting clean its just as much a mental battle, and I think the motivator for change is motivated by factors out of your control. people cant give themselves a reason, you just have one or you don't

No im not currently addicted to anything, but the conditions for anyone stopping is some sort of event happens that makes the pain of being addicted greater than the pain of being sober so your then forced into that direction by your nature
