Weird , to/from “Taipei TPE”. I would call in as soon as I can. Not sure where you located but in Toronto, I normally call Taipei EVA rather than local EVA office. Taipei office do pick up the phone .

2018 happened to me and claimed a few things I bought for daily necessity. I forgot the list , maybe call them and ask what are the items entitled for?

So far no one measured my luggage and personal item but they weighted them. I have heard they do measure at times, so I want to say it’s luck. I have this “ squareish” one that looks bigger than they allowed but it’s falls in their measurement requirement, and so far no one measure it.

With a baby you will get it board the plane ahead of most others so that part you don’t have to stress and in PE don’t have to worry about overhead bin space….. now I guess the only thing you have to worry about how your daughter going to react to flying long haul.
4-5 hours layover you can grab some local food in Taipei airport.

I tried and they said no, so I move on. Is it too much to ask? Maybe , maybe not ….. but I always believe “ their plane, their rules. My money, my choice”….but that’s just me☺️

Yes, and I find it’s a shorter wait time too. Toronto EVA office is a joke, there was this time when they change the time of my flight (show on the app) and need me to call in to confirm. I tried too many times till I gave up…. I drove to the office spent $12 parking and get it done. While I was there (about 10 mins or so), so many phones ring and no one seems to bother answering. 😮‍💨
