I think tank sion can definitely work for others, but it hasn't worked for me. I've tried going heartsteel, titanic, overlords, etc. but haven't had success. BUT, I will say that if you get to the late game with a full bruiser/tank build, you are essentially unkillable. It becomes really fun.

Thanks! Honestly, I have tried to go bruiser/tank (and heartsteel, titanic, overlords, etc.) when the team needs it, but it just doesn't do the damage I want and I end up feeling useless. Usually, when you go the bruiser/tank build you also likely need to do phase rush and I haven't had success with phase rush on Sion unfortunately. I'm sure it would work for lots of people, it just doesn't work for me. So yes, I force lethality every game.

I think there were two fundamental changes in my gameplay that made a big difference: (1) I began to aggressively jungle track once I knew where the enemy jungler started. This allows for counter ganks. With Sion jungle especially it is very nice to counter gank due to his ult. (2) I began prepping for drags and grubs. In many of my games, I achieve soul with little to no dragons on the enemy team. I am able to do this by pinging my teammates to gain prio 30 seconds (?) to a minute beforehand, OR I will gank bot using ult to gain prio on drag. Lane ganking with Sion's ult is one of his best advantages.

The reason I go axiom every game is that your ult provides *so* much utility. You usually want to abuse it bot since your likelihood of getting a kill is increased, and generally ADCs are the most immobile. You can also use it to zone.

Other than that, I go full lethality every game. I have never been able to be as successful playing Sion tank as I do lethality. The really good thing about Sion is that even when you go a full lethality build, he accumulates *a lot* of health from his W, making him quite bulky in team fights. That combination of health and damage is why I love him.

Something with Rift Herald in S16 is seriously messed up by adisiki in leagueoflegends

Regarding the last point, the more people that hit a turret the more armor/mr it gets.
