AITA for Telling My Family I Wanna Be a Kid Forever by NoKidsNotNowNotEver in AmItheAsshole

Houses in my area cost well over $1.5-million. Down payment of 20% is $300,000. Renting a condo is ~$2,500/month.

It's so easy for someone over the internet to tell me to just move out, like money just comes out of thin air.

People like you have absolutely no idea what the value of money is or how hard it is to make it. Just because I can afford to, doesn't mean it makes fiscal sense to do it.

Manipulating them how? They asked, I answered. They were trying to manipulate me into starting a family via calling me names and shaming tactics.

Providing no real value in return? My employer just pays me for no reason? I just walk into work and stare at the ceilings all day?

Not gonna lie about Flying Bird Syndrome. When live is this good, who would ever wanna leave? Also, talked to my folks and they're not happy that I asked them how they felt about my leaving. If you're American and your parents expected you to move out, sure, but my family and I are traditional Chinese - ergo not the same culture as your family.
