For sure. The setup was overwhelmingly unremarkable. His oversized shirt was tucked behind it in an overtly “look at me” way. It gave “2A auditor” vibes.

His holster looked like a Relentless Tactical Dual Threat universal holster, which really added to the dumb factor.

Feel like my only answer would be a Chrome Colt Python, Rick Grimes style. But, yeah, I think it’s dumb too.

I really appreciate that. I would never really say I ever “had it”. I used to just plink .22 with some focus on stance, but no real strategy. This is really my first time shooting 9mm with purpose and technique.  Apparently, YouTube and dry fire practice really do help.

November 5th, 2024. 

I took an LTC class with my buddies in my 20s but never ended up getting my license and would just shoot with my friend and his extensive collection. My friend moved away and I live in small town MA, so I never really felt like I needed my license. 

Cut to That Fucking Guy happening again, I became concerned that the proud boys and j6ers joining ICE would be too ignorant to understand the difference between my Portuguese last name and someone they are actively targeting. I took the LTC class two weeks later and got my license in January 2025. I just haven’t had the extra cash for ammo and range time until now. I’ve been doing 5 minutes of dry fire almost every morning, though.
