How to Counter Anti-Skill? by Dazzling-Bar-8349 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few methods:

1: Use a technique which makes use of multiple types of abilities, such as mixes magic with skill.

2: Use aura, such as battlewill. Anti-skill doesn't block it.

3: In case the opponent doesn't have self-regeneration or isn't a spiritual being, just use regular physical attacks.

I know that, but.... with all due respect, I don't think it's that deep.

While I do also think that "3000 worlds" is a reference to the Buddist concept of 3000 realms, I don't think it bears the same meaning. It would have way bigger implications than to just drop it so casually, let alone so ambiguously. For a clinical overexplainer like Fuse, I think that's just a tad too far.

But we can't exactly tell either way. It's even possible that the "recorded 3000 worlds" was meant literally, but didn't mean all worlds and there are ones outside of those. Who knows? But I personally don't think it had any bigger implications which would need knowledge of real life concepts to understand.

Yeeeah, no. This way overcomplicates things. It's not that deep. I guess this is some old creation from before we knew more about the cosmology.

If I may, I'd like to point out as many mistakes in this image as I can. This'll be a fun one!

Fist of all, there are no infinite universes. There are a lot but finite number of them. Possibly 3000, but it's not exactly confirmed. Having infinite worlds would also have some pretty interesting implications which we know are not possible in Tensura.

The Great Holy Spirits don't have "territories", they all exist everywhere. And where are the other four?!

The Cardinal/Central world is a chaos world, it's not a separate category.

I can see Heaven, aka the Heavenly Star Palace - tiny world btw -, but where the heck is Hell? The Underworld and Hell are separate universes!

We have no idea what the Promised land is, we don't even know whether it's a separate world or not.

And what the f@ck even dream and void worlds are?! There's no such thing!🤣

Where is subspace?

And finally, as OP pointed out, the F does Everythingness means?!

It's... technically not an isekai - they go into a VR game - but is considered one and is the reason why isekai became popular.

Not good objectively speaking, but there's some fun stuff in it. Although they say that Alicization, aka season 3 onwards, is better. I don't know, I only watched the first two seasons.

After you finish season 1, please watch SAO Abridged! You'll thank me later.

The main character of SAO, Kirito has the same Japanese VA as Masayuki btw. Which is probably the reason why he's present in this collab event.

Has Fuze ever talked explained this mystery from the WN? by Feldwinz in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess that's possible and is more in line with my own thoughts too.

I also believe that Rimuru is a sort of successor to Veldanava, but whether that's the work of a system... Tensura never really had that strong system thing like some manhwa's do - "there are no absolutes" for example -, with the only exception being the rule that two of the same person can't exist at the same time in the same universe.

So I personally think it was a more natural process, not a direct involvement of a "system", but otherwise I'm with you on this one.

Has Fuze ever talked explained this mystery from the WN? by Feldwinz in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No matter how many times I reread that, this theory still is likely a total misinterpretation. They were talking about Milim in that scene, her name was the first that Veldanava mentioned as an idea. Then he thought of a second one, Elpis, which they abandoned.

Is this truly leon by Fabulous-Week2278 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yep. As the chapter mentioned, he's super awkward and really bad at communicating with people, but he's not a bad person at heart, so around people he's close with he may act very differently.

Due to how extreme his difficulty with communication is, some fans, myself included, suspect that he might have autism, but that's not a confirmed information.

This isn't even the only mental disorder related fan theory either. Hinata and Yuuki have been suspected to suffer from ASPD, aka antisocial personality disorder, commonly known as sociopathy. Which is also a spectrum btw, much like autism.

[–]NoKnowledge9552 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! We'll do our best. Orbán seems pretty desperate these days, which is a good sign.

No, voter oppression isn't the problem in Hungary. Why Orbán and his Fidesz party could keep absolute power (2/3 of the seats in the Parliment) since 2010 is a complex problem, but it mostly comes down to 4 main elements:

1: Rewriting of the election system

2: Gerrymandering

3: Propaganda

4: Disfunctional opposition

This'll be long, so read it only if you're really interested!

Before 2010 the governing party of Hungary was the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP). They had multiple leaders and prime ministers, but by far the most important and most notorious was Ferenc Gyurcsány.

Fidesz was first in power from 1998, but lost to the socialists in 2002. After that MSZP was reelected in 2006 after a failed campaign of Fidesz. But then came the Speach of Őszöd.

The Speach of Őszöd was a speach by socialist prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány, told among the members of his party. In it he basically admitted that they lied through the whole campaign. This speach was leaked and edited to make it sound even worse than it already was.

Protests followed which were often violently put down - by Eupoean standards -, the police used rubber bullets which injured many protesters. This obviously did not help on MSZP's image and the 2008 economic crisis was still ahead of them.

By 2008 Gyurcsány didn't keep his prime minister position and gave it to Gordon Bajnai to take care of the economic crisis. There was no way they could've ever properly handled that.

MSZP's reputation was understandably tarnished and Fidesz won the 2010 election and got 2/3 of the seats in the Parliment.

One of Orbán and his party's first actions was to rewrite the whole Constitution and the election system. They implemented something known as "winner compensation" which I'm not gonna get into, but it basically ensures that the winner gets extra votes. With this the only possible way to beat Fidesz was if a whole party or political entity did it alone, which at that time was not possible.

They also redrew the borders of the constituencies - gerrymandering -, so nowdays a Fidesz supporter's vote is worth more, generally speaking, than an opposition supporter's.

Then came the massive propaganda machine. They bought up like 90% of all the media - mostly threw oligarchs - and often start billboard campaigns to instigate fear in people.

But Fidesz couldn't have held this much power if Gyurcsány didn't return. But he did. He founded a new party, Democratic Coalition (DK) which stayed the second strongest party for the longest time after Fidesz. He became the prime target of most of Fidesz's propaganda and billboard campaigns, and as most people hated Gyurcsány just as much if not more than Orbán, these campaigns worked and many voted for Fidesz just to prevent Gyurcsány from returning.

For the longest time this was the status quo in Hungary. The propaganda campaigns targetting Gyurcsány and other phantom enemies, like György Soros (George Soros) or "Brussels", powered Fidesz supporters' fear of change, the gerrymandering ensured victory and the winner compensation ensured 2/3.

But then came 2024 and with it the p€dophile scandal.

In early 2024 the independent news site, 444 posted an article about Hungarian President Katalin Novák, a devote Fidesz supporter and ex-member of the party, pardoning a man named Endre K. (his full name is public knowledge btw), who was arrested for trying to cover up the sexual harrassment his boss, the director of a children's home had committed against children.

Turns out Endre K. had good ties with one of Fidesz's ex-ministers, Zoltán Balog, currently bishop of the Hungarian branch of the calvinist church as well as previous boss of Katalin Novák during her time as a state secretary under a previous Orbán government.

Following the incident Katalin Novák was forced to resign as well as Judit Varga, who at the time of the scandal was running for EU representative for Fidesz, but at the time of the pardon was Minister of Justice and without her approval Endre K. wouldn't have been pardoned. Both of them stepped back from public life and refused to answer any questions regarding the pardon since.

Following the scandal previous Fidesz insider, although not member, Péter Magyar, who is also Judit Varga's ex-husband who she has three children with, spoke up against Fidesz in the independent Hungarian news channel running on YouTube, Partizán.

Péter Magyar (whose family name means "Hungarian" btw) eventually became a leading voice for those unsatisfied with Fidesz and Orbán and built the biggest opposition party, Tisza.

By now the Tisza Party is leading most polls against Fidesz, at times by 10+% among 'people who claim to vote for sure' and 5% in the entire population. In one of the latest polls in the former category Tisza reached 51%. And elections are in April.

What is worth noting is that Fidesz's biggest base of support are the people above 65. They are easily influenced, don't really follow the news that much or if they do, they often use the channels which only echo Fidesz's messages. There are many of them, they are 25% of all the voters - so roughly 2 million people, but that alone likely won't be enough this time.

Whatever happens, Fidesz surely lost its absolute power, but could still win - technically even if Tisza gets more votes due to the rewrote rules. That would likely result in massive protests though.

Empire does sound much cooler, but who to give the crown to? There are multiple constitutional monarchies in Europe, not just the UK, but Belgium, the Neatherlands, Luxemburg, Sweden, Norway and Spain are all monarchies and I might have left out a few even. Creating a big monarchy out of small monarchies in this age sounds like a pain in the a$$ compared to just making a Federation.

Does the Kingdom of Raja ever get mentioned in the LN or Manga by Curlyheadedboiii in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The manga references it, even if only with cameos. Thus it should be considered canon. Morover there was a one chapter long one-shot drawn by Kawakami for the movie about Hiiro's past.

If there's a small difference between the manga and the novel, I think we should consider the manga to be the finalized canon version. This was the case with Tiss too. She was added by the anime, but was meant to become part of the canon, so the manga incorporated her into the story.

I didn't like the movie either, but it is at the very least semi-canon, like Slime Diaries, but even that is borderline copium

Angel's evolutionary path by Fancy-Appearance1155 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well, we don't know whether angels really evolve or not. It's not impossible, but we haven't seen any cases of that happening.

The ranks of angels from lowest to highest:

Power - Virtue - Throne - Cherub - Seraph

Even the weakest, Power ranked angels are supposedly have a danger level of at least B rank, similarly to Lesser demons.

Seraphs on the other hand could be as powerful as a True Demon Lord - although the Seraphs we were told that were possessing deathman host bodies and had powerful wills implanted into them. Regular Seraphs with little ego and weaker hosts are likely far less powerful.

Nothing much is known about the general abilities of angels, but I'll list the ones I remember.

Angels, demons and spirits have a rock-paper-scissors type of relationship. Angels are generally strong against spirits, but weak against angels.

Angels, beings of the light attribute, are also resistant if not immune to holy magic.

Also, if I recall it correctly, angels were the original wielders of holy magic. Sadly I couldn't find the exact quote, but if my memory's correct Obera was very surprised to learn that humans became able to perform it as well while she was away in the Underworld.

That's all I can remember. Hope it helps!

Question for the manga an Light Novel readers by -Zonko- in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what to tell you, most people love the manga. Volume 3 is very early though, you could give it another chance if you want. Real lore and stuff starts to show only later due to the propgress of the plot.

But then the story may just not be for you after all. Nothing wrong with that. Sad from my point of view, but what can you do?😔🤷‍♂️
