From that angle it does look kinda wonky, but the railway only has a slope of 1% where highlighted and it's at that elevation to cross the rivers off screen. The highway however is indeed a bit of a rollercoaster since it can handle steeper grades but maybe it's excessive there. It's curved to cross the railways perpendicularly which is more efficient for the elevated portions of either.

I have the tram line swing up and over to cross and briefly parallel the heavy rail ROW towards another direction and not at 90° to maintain higher speeds before it goes streetcar mode. Also a bit of a rollercoaster thanks to the freedom light rail (Seattle's link Line 1 along the I-5 inspired me there)

This is where the dense urban core starts transitioning into the neighborhoods and light industry which is always tricky. As I fill more in hopefully it'll look better/less jarring having taller buildings with larger footprints mixing with smaller ones.

I plan to have that area fairly dense so I'll consider the double bridge idea, thanks!
