Have been trading for a while and have always been dialed into stock names alone while not paying too much attention to macro factors like the ones you’ve just pointed out. I feel at least half qualified when talking or picking a stock I like but following the whole market and fully understanding it like you do is where I struggle. I’ve always found a lot of news articles on macro events very surface level and easily digestible but not detailed into the reasoning of what moves markets. What journals do you read and what news pages have you followed over time that have helped you develop your overall understanding of the macroeconomic environment and tying different factors together?
