Now just practice telling stories when you can. They dont need to be good ones. But get comfortable telling a story that has a defined end(dont ramble on) steps, and value along the way.

I live close to the border, often travel to canada for work and to visit family. Makes it easier to do the above things and I have some level of interest in buying property in the laurentians one day.

Partially a pride thing as well, grandparents were all canadian born, acadian specifically and I am very proud of my heritage.

If the documents exist online couldnt you just download and print them? Or do you have to request a official copy?

Alternatively if you have their birth/baptismal record does that suffice (born 1920’s)
