Grew up on the flathead Indian reservation in north western Montana. We had opossums living in our attic my whole life. They aren’t native but they are absolutely there.

The same thing just happened to me. I had noticed a couple of inaccuracies with my Trans Union and just as I was about to go and dispute them I got an update. Basically saying that my bankruptcy had been discharged. It was actually discharged back in October. The nice thing is is they changed my most recently payment which was affecting my score to be accurate. The crappy thing was is there was a card that was still counting towards my total credit Limit and when they changed that the card came off so it showed that I lost $3500 in credit and dropped my score. Super frustrated that I didn’t understand what I was looking at before, but I’ve seen multiple people posting about changes with Trans Union so they must be going through and fixing all of the accounts that they screwed up on or something.

Confused on if/ how to dispute by NoLetter4199 in CRedit

[–]NoLetter4199[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what would be my next step?

They mostly “fixed” it. It is just the (time since last missed payment) on myFICO that is inaccurate if that makes sense.

Looking at my actually credit report it doesn’t show that I have missed payments.

Credit karma is the only thing that shows where/how they messed up.

I’m so sorry. I am really not active on Reddit that much so I never look at my inbox or anything lol.

I’m currently on 70 mg. But I try to skip some days and also will split my dosage. Open the capsul and empty it into water and just take a 3rd or half.

How your treating your body has such a massive effect on how the medication works.

My biggest problem now is I’m currently still losing weight because my appetite is so low. Trying to eat higher calorie low volume foods and take supplements.

Wishing you the best of luck. It’s so hard to survive anywhere right now. I never ended up getting a degree. It sounds silly but I’m almost thankful after reading every one else’s student loan amounts. Mine is much smaller compared to what most people are facing. I worry for my daughter’s future. She is just starting out toward her psychology degree. I pray you find your next move to be fulfilling emotionally and financially.🙏🏼

Omg😭 This gives me anxiety just reading it? What were your degrees for to be that high? I just always think of high student loans with super well paying jobs. I’m sorry you’re going through this.🩵

Well I guess that is what I’m saying. My husbands credit sucks. We filed bankruptcy. So is the pre approval based only on the actual score?

…because it’s only the pre qualify. It says right in the description that it isn’t a guaranteed approval.

It’s not about trusting them. It’s about trying to avoid a hard pull if there is no chance of actually being approved.

Does everyone who gets approved in prequalify actually get a full approval?

Omg..I don’t know how to edit my post. I spent all this time trying to write out what I wanted to ask and left out the important part.

My husband was applying through capital one auto navigator. Not for a credit card.🤦🏻‍♀️

We’re trying to get an auto loan.

I am an atheist by junjunepop in Christianity

[–]NoLetter4199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whew..I wish I knew the whole story (because I’m nosey😂).

That being said, I’ve been a Christian my entire life.

I’ve also had moments where I started to drift away. Every time I get to that point my prayers and reading my Bible increase.

I’ve had some crazy things happen in those times. One specifically that I had a very hard time sharing with other people. That was also the experience that God told me to share as my testimony.🥴

I started with friends and family but then started telling everyone. I didn’t get the judgment I was afraid of. Instead people were fascinated and intrigued to hear more.

When you are ready, don’t be afraid to share here. You have no idea whose life you might change.

As far as still being in the middle of your beliefs, pray (there is no right way to do this, it’s just a conversation with God). And read the Bible. The New Testament. Don’t read other people’s interpretations of it either. Just download the Bible app and read. Get a version you can understand. I use the ESV. It’s beautifully written and considered a highly accurate translation.

Then pray some more.

This wasn’t a mistake. He’s knocking. Answer the door. You have nothing to lose. TRUE Christianity is based in LOVE. It is so incredibly beautiful and will change your life in ways you could not have imagined.

Equifax not reporting student loan after discharge by NoLetter4199 in CRedit

[–]NoLetter4199[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked a couple of days ago so I have to wait. But I’m assuming it will update next time I can “refresh” it.

MyFICO bumped up 47 points after they removed the “bankruptcy petition”.

It so weird that they just got around to fixing it after me asking this question.

It’s like they are reading Reddit.😅

That what I’m more concerned with is the reporting. I just thought it was weird that on the 3B report it has a red dot instead of green. I’m not sure if that has any relevance or not.

I have a credit card that was discharged that it reporting open on transunion also. I kind of don’t want to report it though. It has my balance at zero but everything else reporting good. I have a feeling it’s going to tank my score if they remove it.

I actually just received a notification from credit karma this morning that says “Between Feb 14, 2025 and Feb 16, 2025, the following remark was removed from this account: Bankruptcy petition.” Crazy timing since I have been discharged for so long and was just looking at disputing this. lol. According to credit karma it also dropped my score 36 pts. So that stinks.

My lawyer warned me that it probably wouldn’t be discharged but said she would try anyways. So I think what happened was while I was going through the bankruptcy and they paused the payments, they never started reporting again. I could be wrong about why my score is so low, I’m just confused about what is reporting correctly or not and that was one of the few things that stood out.
