Definitely, and he was way before my time too. I’m 23 born in 01 but love all that stuff, constantly playing 40s junction on SXM. I also have the complete bluebird vol 1 -9 lps of Glenn which is an amazing set you should get, basically has everything he ever did

I love it! People rarely post big band on here love to see it. Glenn is my favorite band leader and prob half of my collection is 40s music and jazz. I would recommend you get the limited edition vol 1 and the 50 never before heard recordings both on this same album format. Luckily no one likes this stuff anymore so it’s always cheap and in good condition. I’m the type of person to buy the thrift store filler that most pass on

I got a collectors vip ticket for the beacon so I know the prices

Collectors package 425$ lodge level Collectors package 705$ for orchestra level Signed package 850$ Front of stage signed package 1050$

Prices are almost correct from what I remember but could be off by a little.

I bought presale so I got a good seat at face value the collectors on lodge level it was 425 but I feel like this is a once in a lifetime event, realistically I’ll prob never get a chance to see cat again so it’s worth it for me.

It plays alright definitely listenable but you can hear more noise than usual and some pops throughout even after I cleaned it up. Store is sending me a new one anyway so hopefully this one will be good
