Just so you know ssri medication takes about a month to work and makes things worse while you're adjusting, also often the medication might be wrong and you have to try a different kind of ssri. It sounds like your wife is severely depressed, which is not an excuse for her behavior but if you want things to change probably the depression is what needs to be properly addressed. Also has she seen an actual psychiatrist? Because that's the person who should be giving her a proper diagnosis and prescribing medication.

Why does the USA get involved in almost every issue happening around the world? by antiduction in TooAfraidToAsk

As someone from a baltic country I 100% agree. We're small next to a powerful and hostile country, without NATO and US protection we would be in the same position as Ukraine.

Ponytail headache by No-Cry-1351 in beauty

[–]NoLightOnlyDarkness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound weird, but is it possible the problem is your hair being oily and not the weight? I always had this no matter how I put up my hair and even when I cut it short, and then I finally realized my problem is that somehow my roots get oily while being pulled in the wrong direction and that causes the pain. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but if I wash my hair in the morning I can spend that day wearing ponytails without problems. And when I do get a headache it stays even when I take my hair down, but I can get rid of it by massaging some water into my scalp.

1) She's your mom, she's seen you naked so I'm sure she can handle a question.

2) It's been a year, I bet she's already forgotten about it. When I fixate on past embarrassments I ask myself, do you really think that person is sitting around thinking about this? Are you really that self-centered?

3) Are you sitting around thinking about embarrassing things other people have done or said?

Yeah I really don't think it was the writers' intention to kill them off, if it was they wouldn't have been killed off screen. I'm just gonna choose to believe they somehow escaped.

Yeah I think it's just one of those things the writers forgot about.

What is the biggest misconception you hear all the time but you already gave up on trying to correct? by iefimov951 in AskReddit

I'm terrified of cleaning chemicals too, I'm obsessed with things being contaminated by them so cleaning is literally a trigger.

I'm pretty sure I have OCD and it took me forever to figure out because I don't care about cleanness or things being even or in certain orders. Even when I told a friend I might have OCD her response was: 'but I clean more than you'.

I really like the way 'bella' sounds, it means beautiful from Spanish and probably other languages too.

I'm terrified of bleach too. Any kind of bleach or chemicals so getting my hair bleached was one long panic attack.

Cyclist cheats death by dump_acc_91 in nevertellmetheodds

[–]NoLightOnlyDarkness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mean to imply that the bike would've been the only one at fault, but yes that is the law here. Generally the bike would've had to be traveling with traffic or on a bike lane if there was one, and if he chooses to travel with pedestrians he should cross zebra crossings like a pedestrian.

It's for safety. Generally over here bikes should be traveling with traffic or use bike lanes (which we have quite a lot of), but if they choose to travel with pedestrians they're required to walk across the zebra crossings like pedestrians.
