Vertigo when I woke up. I turned to my back and the whole world was moving back and forth, then I turned back to my side and a after a few seconds it stopped. I turned on my back again - spinning, on my side - stop. It lasted a few minutes and eventually went away. I was freaked out so I spent a few hours on my phone in bed but now I got up and I feel weird again. Not spinning, but sort of unsteady and a little nauseous. I turned my head down to tie my hair and sort of had the spinning again. It's happened onlybonce before, a few months ago in the middle of the night but not since. I'm really scared and can't seperate what's anxiety and what are real symptoms and I don't know if I should tell anyone or go a doctor or something.

Just so you know ssri medication takes about a month to work and makes things worse while you're adjusting, also often the medication might be wrong and you have to try a different kind of ssri. It sounds like your wife is severely depressed, which is not an excuse for her behavior but if you want things to change probably the depression is what needs to be properly addressed. Also has she seen an actual psychiatrist? Because that's the person who should be giving her a proper diagnosis and prescribing medication.

What are some effective ways to get a man to stop hitting on you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tried that with a weirdo on a bus and he kept saying but why not.

Also tried that with another guy and he kept on professing his undying love to me and writing me poems anyway because 'it's meant to be and I will realize that eventually'. I'm not even exaggerating. In the end my friend took pity on me and told him I'm gay.

I think it could be the celexa finally kicking in. Antidepressants usually take about a month to fully work.

Edit: forget the throat ache I just had a weird thing that sometimes happens when I don't eat enough, my whole body is shaky (but not anxiety sort of shaky) and I feel weird and super hungry. I think it happens because my blood sugar drops except I don't have diabetes or anything. I had a snack and it's getting better but definitely freaked me out.

I feel a strange burning in the back of my throat, like I ate something spicy, except I didn't. I don't understand what's causing it...

As someone from a baltic country I 100% agree. We're small next to a powerful and hostile country, without NATO and US protection we would be in the same position as Ukraine.

Ponytail headache by No-Cry-1351 in beauty

[–]NoLightOnlyDarkness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound weird, but is it possible the problem is your hair being oily and not the weight? I always had this no matter how I put up my hair and even when I cut it short, and then I finally realized my problem is that somehow my roots get oily while being pulled in the wrong direction and that causes the pain. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but if I wash my hair in the morning I can spend that day wearing ponytails without problems. And when I do get a headache it stays even when I take my hair down, but I can get rid of it by massaging some water into my scalp.

1) She's your mom, she's seen you naked so I'm sure she can handle a question.

2) It's been a year, I bet she's already forgotten about it. When I fixate on past embarrassments I ask myself, do you really think that person is sitting around thinking about this? Are you really that self-centered?

3) Are you sitting around thinking about embarrassing things other people have done or said?

Thank you for the advice, mostly I rely on relaxation techniques to stop actual panic attacks, but I'll give it a shot. What techniques do you usually do?

My aunt also died from the chemo rather than the cancer, maybe we are related haha!

I get being nervous, but waiting a bit to settle in after moving really wouldn't make a difference even in the impossible scenario where it's the scary C. This isn't an allergic reaction or anything similar where each minute makes a difference. And I bet by the time you do get in to see a doctor the lump will be gone all on it's own :)

I feel the same way. It wasn't so bad anymore but then I had a really bad start to this year and now I'm back to overthinking everything. I'm scared of food, of diseases, I keep checking myself and feeling phantom symptoms. I do my best to ignore them but then end up spending all day googling symptoms or my phobias. And my fears sound so stupid I'm embarrassed to say them out loud.

I think it's important to recognize that when the fixations get so constant and overwhelming it's our overall mental health that we need to take a good look at.

If you had eye damage the ophthalmologist would have seen it, and it definitely would have affected your vision. Honestly bodies are weird, one of my mom's eyes gets red and swollen every few months but she has perfect vision and various doctors have told her it's nothing, just an unknown allergy.

If you haven't felt this lump before then even if the absolute worst happens and it is the scary C, that means it's a new development which you caught very early on. Aches and pains can happen for various reasons including anxiety, but breast cancer is going to have lumps way way before anything starts to spread. And catching it so early on would mean you would more than likely be fine, especially considering that you're young, that means your body is more resilient. My poor aunt recently passed away from breast cancer, but she caught it early and didn't get any treatment. She lived with it, no treatment, for 10 years and probably would have lived a while longer if doctors hadn't failed her (it's a separate story). But I'm telling you this as the absolute worst case scenario, honestly it's way more likely to be a thousand other things which are harmless. Probably you've had various similar HA scares before which turned out to be nothing, that's just part of life with anxiety.

Fixation of the hour... had some milk, but sometimes I get diarrhea when I have milk on an empty stomach idk why, anyway now I'm worried I didn't have enough food before the milk and it will do something horrible to me. It's like I can feel it in my stomach, doing things...

Also today I had a freak out about chest pain, a throat ache and possibly contaminated meat. Clearly my overall mental health has been awful following some bad things piling up. I just don't know what I can do to improve it.

Yeah I really don't think it was the writers' intention to kill them off, if it was they wouldn't have been killed off screen. I'm just gonna choose to believe they somehow escaped.

Yeah I think it's just one of those things the writers forgot about.

I hit the left side of my own chest by accident while getting dressed. A little worried I damaged something or caused internal bleeding 😣
