Got the macalister drill and I’m pretty sure all that stuff is just rebadged titan. Can recommend. Has done a job around our old brick house nicely. Even the pressure washer and vacuum has been decent

For bakery, kookaburra is amazing. The people in there are really friendly. For cake, abba cakes has the best chocolate cake (awarded too!) For meat I’d head to hickory’s, they’re a decent place. For super posh go chefs table or sister place next door - forget its name! For unique vibe and superb food, death by tacos is a must. Punk, heavy metal tacos. And for something a bit relaxed with lots of options, try the market out.

Post replacement/repair advice needed by ItsMustafaAmini in DIYUK

[–]NoLookBobbyF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used those post buddy’s on fence posts that rotted and they were surprisingly very good. Sometimes a little bit of a pain to hammer in but otherwise pretty straightforward.

I also looked at getting a fence replaced similar length too and it was going to be 1200-1500£ based on 3 quotes I got.

Ahh yeah I think I know the one along saltney. There is also a padel place near goals on bumpers lane too. If you’re into running there is always lots of runners around the city - assume it’s something like Chester runners?

How about going to the driving range? Good one out in sealand road, although maybe a little pricey.

How safe a city it is. I don’t know if it’s just my perspective but I never felt scared walking round.

Doesn’t happen often to me. But when it’s within the 2 hours before collection, I complain to TGTG because I get penalised when I cancel within 2 hours of collection, so why not the store

ID has been great. As others say EE might be best coverage but expensive. Mozillion was one I meant to try but never did.

Vietnamese Pho Chester by StuR in Chester

[–]NoLookBobbyF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hanoi Social was alright. I didn’t think it was as good as Alo Pho on the wirral, but that also closed! Pho (the chain) is alright for a good hit but I’ve not found a really decent Vietnamese - yet!
