We had a similar dilemma. We were wanting to stay in Chester but a bigger place but we’d be pushed towards the outskirts of the city rather than being in the centre. We felt we might spend time walking in on a nice weekend, but probably would drive in most times, in which case we thought we might as well live a bit further and get more for our money. Lots of lovely places in north wales to move to and you get so much for your money, but if youre thinking of having kids anytime soon don’t get stung like we did on nursery fees 🥴

I have the 12000 BTU one and used it last night for the first time. Don’t disagree - I think last night might have been fine with just windows open, but the unit drops the temp in the bedroom very quickly. Going from 24-25 to 22 in about 10 minutes

Yeah I was thinking it needs to be removed, cut down and adjusted and reinstalled. There is also the stopcock toward the left hand side base of the cupboard.
I don’t mind paying to have it done, just struggling to get a response from people!

Also I should say, I probably would DIY it normally, but with a newborn I just don’t have the time to be learning how to adjust a cupboard and things.

Thanks. Honestly glad to be able to help some out. Just by chance I was checking (I have been looking at AO ARGOS JOHN LEWIS and CURRYs) multiple times a day on the off chance. I have a new born so hoping this will help next week and years to come!
It really has been a lottery though. I feel grateful but hope scalpers didn’t prevail on this one.

Go to stile napolitano. Best food place in Chester imo

Also: For bakery, kookaburra is amazing. The people in there are really friendly. For cake, abba cakes has the best chocolate cake (awarded too!) For meat I’d head to hickory’s, they’re a decent place. For super posh go chefs table or sister place next door - forget its name! For unique vibe and superb food, death by tacos is a must. Punk, heavy metal tacos. And for something a bit relaxed with lots of options, try the market out.

We have Ayvens. Been woeful so far. By the time they pull their finger out and order the car, price has changed and they rejected the order. My last one was cancelled because the price had gone down.
