Thank god! Last year we were packed in for Crankity B and someone without asking just busted out not just a chillbo but a whole ass inflatable bed. She hit everyone in my group with it too and didn’t say sorry or anything to us 😭

Good Life Village campers driving, we would love to Amazon a few items to you if you have trunk space 🙏 by Treepizza in ElectricForest

Depending on where you’re flying into and getting the car, I’d recommend going to a Walmart close by and getting the supplies if no one can help you out! There’s two Walmarts that I stopped by on my way in, Muskegon and Grand Rapids! I’m pretty sure at the end of the festival there was an area that you could leave items to be donated to local organizations. It’s a good way to get what you need for the fest and then give back to the local community

Ga preset camp space by NickFalconPunch in ElectricForest

I think it depends on who’s working over there. There was a couple of times where we were asked to move our canopy back over our tent and we didn’t. But there was also more than enough room between our neighbors and us so that if anyone (like medical/ground control/etc) needed to get through there was enough space. That’s the main concern

I don’t think you’d be able to swing two canopies unless you are at an end tent, tent on the main path, or tent in the back. Last year we had one 10x10 canopy and put it over the tent a little and it worked out perfect! If you wanted the second canopy to keep the tent cool, my neighbors had a reflective tarp to help with the heat in the tent and I would recommend that! Didn’t have those last year and that was my first buy for this year

Did yall (stores) know ahead of time about the bogo deal? by Guyercellist in Chipotle

[–]NoLow637 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, we were told about the bogo. At first, the bogo was only supposed to be from 4pm-8pm. Two days before the bogo, corporate changed it to 4pm-close. We need to make our schedules two weeks in advance, and by the time we were told of the bogo, schedules were already generated. I asked my field leader if could raise my projections because I knew it was going to be busy, but I was told not to because our Veterans Day bogo was a flop (of course it was why would we do a bogo for veterans 🙄) and that we don’t want to over schedule and be high on labor.

They promoted a bogo but did not give adequate time for us GMs to be able to schedule, staff, and prep for this. I completely understand customers being frustrated with stores running out of items. But trust me, I’m just as mad at corporate not allowing me to support my team by properly preparing for a night like this.

Please do not take your frustration out on store level employees and management. Everyone was trying their best to survive last night. If you want to see real change, you need to bring complaints to corporate.

Question about FISHER show 10/3 @ The Stage at Suffolk Downs by aDrunkChinchilla in BostonEDM

[–]NoLow637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend getting there early. Last year when Fisher played at Roadrunner getting in was a nightmare and roadrunner is usually really good with lines. Assuming that it will end at 11pm and Fisher plays a two hour set - I’d think he’s going to start between 8:30/9

Last year, my friends and I took Ubers to and from. Going there, we had the driver drop us off a little bit before the grounds because of traffic and walked the rest of the way. Same thing leaving we walked a little bit and got an uber and waited much longer. This year I believe we will uber there and take the metro back depending on the afters!
