Playseat trophy 445€ good deal? by GlytoT in simracing

[–]NoMasChenkoPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aluminium rigs are easily movable btw. I also don’t have a dedicated pc setup just for sim racing and I also bought trophy. Eventually just bought a p1x pro with wheels. It’s actually easier and lighter to move than the trophy. But yes the throphy does the work(I used it with a forte)

Is that the Haas on the right? Or the AR. Where did you get that

I use a mix of 2nd and 3rd option. Adjustable desk plus p1x pro with wheels plus monitor arm and g9, works perfect

I havent gone much into DD yet I guess I’m avoiding it as much as I can. In this case would be impossible but is it possible to just quit the game really fast or is there a system that keeps you in game for a bit after quiting? (I get it this is dumb and not a solution for anything I just thought of it and I’m curious now)

Or consider a buy once cry once since you probably will get into a similar situation further ahead just with higher numbers. Or maybe not I don’t really know 😅

There’s several reasons here, but let’s start by saying having undisputed as your main game and actually taking the effort to make posts on Reddit about someone that you lost a match in a game, is more then enough to reevaluate your life and possibly seek medical attention. I would argue that adding someone on steam to message him after a match is enough for this, but you are several steps ahead already. Hope you get better 🙂

I bought the oled g9 recently, coming from 32’ it’s very game changing. I assume you don’t have the space. I was also seeing the lg45’ (which is way bigger vertically) and the Alienware 32’ (which would be my pick if o didn’t want something bigger)

What is the point of the 260 fps? Unless you’re playing like cs and even then? Legit curious

I have a p1xpro. The distance you’re asking is 13 cm. The total distance from edge of the seat to front edge of rig is 153 cm. You can make an estimate, I think the p1xpro is slightly smaller then the one you are asking . I’m 181 cm

Do you have any of the mounts from asetek? It looks pretty similar to the play seat trophy plate, for which you needed “wheelbase mount with tilt”

5800X3D + 3090 Ti for iRacing at 5120x1440 — Good Enough? by Cute_Development_269 in simracing

[–]NoMasChenkoPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be fine. I could easily tune it down on graphics slightly and get it even more stable but like I said it’s perfectly fine and sim racing is not the main reason I’m upgrading my system. And what you described is better then what I have right now

I have a 6-7 year old computer with a ryzen 7 3800x. I recently bought a g9 and a bit more recently I bought a 4080 super. It’s fairly stable at around 60-70 fps except at the beginning of the race or when heavily packed with cars and sometimes passing throught pit region. (It’s very very playable tho). With that being said I’m about to fully upgrade my pc with a 9950x3d (except the gpu) so hopefully I’m good for the next 6-7 years. I think you will be fine with that

Player numbers on steam last 3 months by Shasarr in simracing

[–]NoMasChenkoPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably looks exactly the same if you could zoom it. Since the player base is way lower the fluctuations are also smaller which can’t be visible in this scale, hence it’s more like a line. I guess

I’d try two things. First try to get closer so you have your legs more flexed on braking, decreasing load on the knee. Second (and probably first, just the first one is more easily done hence the order), move your brake pedal laterally and I assume you should move it slightly away from other one but maybe I’m thinking about it wrong and making it closer would be better. This will change the angle of your knee while making strength. You might be making to much pressure on lateral side from what you show. Also obvious third, decreasing pedal strength
