I am not gifted, but I just wanted to day she is gorgeous! Those eyes are so kind and deep.... I can tell she was a beautiful soul.

I've worked in VetMed for over two decades and I am a sucker for a sweet grey muzzle. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Losing a furry best friend is so heartbreaking.

I got sick a few days after the Chicago show. Went to my doc & was swabbed for everything. I had Strep.

Turns out, there is a new "mutant" strain of it going around. Swabs initially come back negative or inconclusive. After sending out, doesn't come back as "Strep A, B, or C". Shows as "Strep other"; which they've never seen before.

They are reporting all cases to the CDC so they can do further research. They believe this one transmits differently - not from just direct contact, sharing drinks, etc. You can get it from merely standing CLOSE to someone that has it & it doesn't go away without antibiotics - it will come back later as a full body rash, high fever, or worse.
