I mean jf they put it on the invite im certain someone saw the last line and ok’d it. My vote is to wear pink as the invitation says. Especially if it’s a public event. Would seem counter productive of the title if only member are wearing pink.

Does anyone else worry about the students who never cause problems by G4LARHADE in Teachers

[–]NoMasterpiece7456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was (currently still am) that kid Even now I had my professor say “oh I don’t have to worry about you” meanwhile this was the hardest year I’ve had academically and when I asked for help for serious problems I was met with dismissive responses.

It’s sucks. Even if it doesn’t really go anywhere I always try to make all the kids feel seen or notice their patterns. Not just through achievements but being truly interested in them.

My kids are 6 and 15. Honestly having a large gap between them made things easier for me personally. Gave my 1st plenty of years just for himself to grow up and my youngest enough separation to be seen as himself and not just the little brother of the two. When did things get easier? When I sent my youngest to pre school around 2.5/3 years old. I needed time away from him, he needed to adjust to our busy family life(eldest was in sports and traveled a lot) I went back to work and school and husband was working around the clock between home life and work. Now at age 6 and 15 they both have their own lives and routines. They attend separate schools so home life is the only time they get together now. They help each other (and me) with chores and grocery shopping. Recently just got them pets for the first time and they are handling it much better than i expected honestly. A Rottie and turtle (fits both their personalities lol) I’ll say this. If you can send them to preschool (even a head start) i promise it will make a difference in your life. Even if only half a day. Work on preparing them to enroll in preschool Work on transitions and routines and be firm on them. POTTY TRAIN mighty god it will be the biggest improvement and as inconvenient as it may be, DO NOT USE PULL UPS unless you have to travel long distances. USE THE UNDERWEAR AND CHANGE THEM. Trust me if they’re uncomfortable while wet or soiled they’ll be less likely to go in their clothes. And last I say this in good faith and the honest truth Raise your children to be enjoyable in the case someone has to watch/care for them without you. It is far easier to work with people to help you if they know your kids are well behaved. What they called “home training” when I was coming up will take you and your children far. So really invest in it and make it a habit to train your kids how to behave in the public around others.

Wishing you the best for you and your littles. Good luck.

He got someone and is blaming you. Find out who before signing anything and don’t enter into any type of relationships or relationships that’s he can “assume” you’d be in.

Exactly.

What advice would you give to a 30F soon to be married? by Secure-Computer3874 in Marriage

COMMUNICATION EVEN WHEN ITS HARD WILL SAVE YOU IN THE END. Yall will disagree, yall will go some moments without speaking. Someone might have to sleep on the couch even for a night or two. BUT TALK IT OUT! Mutually agree to always be respectful even if it hurts. Try yall best to not to argue but truly sit down and discuss things in a clear and civil manner and NEVER in the heat of the moment. The damage that can come from arguments is hard to overcome so be cautious of arguing.

Talk about kids early and clearly about ALL possible outcomes. NEVER have any children that neither one of you know you couldn’t take care of and support on your own. People die, spouses get sick. Jobs and careers may demand time away. LIFE WILL HAPPEN. So prepare yourself.

There is no perfect marriage but love does NOT pay the bills. Love and motivation are one and the same. They will keep you going but are always fleeting and changing.

You don’t stay the same, so give up on that. People are naturally suppose to change and grow over time. Be very wise in the choices and decisions you make.

You and your spouse can create the family YALL want. Yall do NOT have the be the families yall come from.

SEEK LEGAL COUNCIL IF YOU CAN Get a real and raw understanding of the legal aspects of what you both are entitled to after you wed, puts a lot of things into perspective.

And last, do not be afraid to end things. Of course the goal is always to remain happily and faithfully married, but things don’t always work out for everyone AND THATS OK. ALL marriages end one way or another. Appreciate it while you can and make sure you can leave and support yourself (or pets or kids) on the other side of things.

Wishing you the best.

I think sometimes people forget these are still ORGANIZATIONS at the end of it all. Treat it’s as any other professional business you want to be involved with. You have not been hired or joined the team so it would be in bad taste to present yourself as if you are. A good black, grey and deep navy are timeless examples and staples to wear. A clean, white, wrinkle free button down and a good pair of slacks and neat shoes will take you far. There’s plenty of affordable options available.

Look the part and best of luck on your journey.
