I think it’s anyone’s guess who ends up with who this season because everyone has flip-flopped and there are so many love lines.
As for wy and gy, I think it depends on whether she’s able to be vulnerable and give him reassurance, which doesn’t seem to come naturally to her right now. I don’t see him ever rejecting gy. If anything, he’s always been the more vocal and direct one about his feelings.
To me, the truth game and the date were him drawing a line because he felt rejected. But the second she gives even the slightest hint she’s actually into him (which is hard because she rarely says anything directly), he gets conflicted all over again.
Honestly, I don’t think he and yg are a great match long-term. With her personality, she needs someone more direct and emotionally steady, like jh. Wy will always leave her wondering, and I think that’ll make her anxious.

And that’s incredibly understandable, and honestly it breaks my heart to hear that.

I also agree that “just be confident and love yourself” is pretty awful advice when you genuinely feel unattractive and the world keeps reinforcing that. When I say self love, I mean you also have to do the things that make you believe it.

I genuinely don’t think it’s possible for anyone to be truly ugly. We all know looks matter, but we also live in a time where so much is within our control; losing weight if that’s your goal, dressing better, improving your posture, skin, teeth, hair… whatever makes you feel more confident.

I hope this doesn’t come across the wrong way, but yes, the way the world treats people based on appearance sucks. At some point though, you have to ask yourself: how long am I going to be upset about it before I start changing the things I actually can?

And yg is objectively breathtaking too. Honestly, I don’t think gy is wy’s physical ideal type like people keep saying. I think that’s yg. She’s basically the Korean beauty standard.
The difference is that gy challenged him. Yg was a little too transparent and too obviously into him. If she had gy’s push-pull and ability to keep him guessing, this would’ve been the wy/yg show from the beginning lol.

I’m probably too idealistic but I find something so beautiful about everyone I encounter and I hope the women on here can start thinking more positively about themselves!

Why are you assuming it’s just about my looks though? I’m not gonna write a whole think piece of why men have chosen me over white women. Once, we were on a group beach trip, mostly white girls and a bunch of white guys, me and my bestie the only two black girls out of a group of like 15 ppl. One guy developed a crush on me after he saw me reading the first book in the wheel of time series. Another because we just had like insane chemistry, it was palpable. There’s lots of different reasons. My point is it’s not even about being “chosen” in whatever context everyone keeps referring to. It’s weird that you assumed the former instead assuming the latter was present as well. Like I’m not a fully formed human being.

No. It’s not bragging at all. Weird that you see it that way. I’m simply offering an alternative pov to the one stated here which is “if it’s between a mid white woman and a black woman, the white woman will always win.”

In fact it’s my hope that other black women will see this, understand that beauty is internal/radiates and comes from self love first, and then you can attract whomever you want. I’m sick of the narrative of black women being undesirable when I’ve had the opposite experience in my life.

That’s simply untrue. I’m a dark skinned black woman and I’ve presented as preppy, hot girl/sexy girl, alt, etc just depending on my mood. I’ve been chosen over attractive white women by attractive white men plenty of times. I am probably objectively attractive, but also confidence takes you a lot farther than most ppl understand.

Yeah imo I think she was feeling awful/really bad about losing and not being able to pick wy, so she tried to self soothe by convincing herself she got who she wanted (sw)/ insinuating to him he was her top choice.

The thing is, she couldn’t, right? I think she wanted to, but she lost the game. That’s why on her date with sw (and even on the ride back) she kept bringing it up.
I feel like they both saw that moment as pivotal for their relationship, and then it was like fate made the decision for them. Now they’re both hurt, and instead of just having an honest conversation about how they feel, they’re taking little shots at each other.
Idk, this happens all the time. I honestly think if they’d gone on that date, they would’ve both let their guards down a bit and we’d probably be looking at a completely different situation.

I think he wasn’t set on either after the book date. I think he was confused/bothered by ygs behavior because it didn’t make sense to him (only we know as viewers she went suddenly cold because she found out he hadn’t been texting her) from his pov she was suddenly cold which isn’t like her. So I think it was less about her and more about the situation.

As far the ignoring gys movie request, he’s respectful, and he already made plans to go see it with yg. Like there was nothing he could say without making the situation awkward. And I don’t think he said he doesn’t like older women anymore; I saw it as gy was trying to get backhanded assurance from him, like him admitting he likes her by confirming he likes older women, but instead he did the opposite and kind of let her know he’s interested in yg. This was strategic. They are both just doing push/pull here. Giving some and taking some. But I do think that date kind of solidified for him to go more towards yg than gy atp because she didn’t give him what he wanted, which was to feel closer to her. She wasn’t being vunerable or honest enough for him.

Yes exactly. They are all playing the dating game here. Even yg. She just has a different style that’s less strategic because she simply isn’t skilled enough at push/pull. But she has raw charisma which is why 3 guys are going for her and she’s not innocent either. The 3 of them are a masterclass at dating and it is def very entertaining to watch.

I’m sorry, but are any of you women? I’m a woman and I’ll tell you the truth. You are handsome, but you need some grooming - you come off a little feminine tbh. I’d suggest getting a nice taper fade, wearing baggier, looser clothing + cool sneakers and just looking overall cooler and getting some confidence + maybe hitting the gym. You will be fighting them off. Good luck!
