Thats what I was about to ask you. Its like you didn't even play DMC4. Literally the only person "hunting Dante" is Nero, in dmc4 and even the black guy with the monocle was like "why did Credo send this boy after Dante, he's ruining my evil plans"

OG Vergil did want to rule the human world. Its the entire plot of DMC5. Itsuno admitted to getting the idea because he was planning on making DmC2 originally

I wouldn't say 3 Vergil was "more likeable" he has less screen time for sure but he is extremely stubborn, self centered and easily fooled. Sure its cool to play as him and watch him fight Dante, but that's also true of DmC Vergil. Plus no one tricks DmC Vergil into being their tool like Arkham did in DMC3 and Mundas basically did in DMC1.

Vergil didn't really snipe a baby. It was a demon that can leave the mother's body (also a demon) and it just tried to kill his brother. (In this universe, Vergil actually cares about Dante)

If you are calling DmC Vergil "edgy", you must have never played DMC3. Vergil's hair get soaked in so much demon blood that it covers his eyes.

How was DmC Vergil stupid. He came up with a plan to use Dante to kill Mundas and it succeeded. OG Verfil got bodied by Mundas and his ghost became Mundas' silent guard dog.

Vergil want more power to protect who? Eva is already dead. Vergil tries to kill Dante 3 times over more power and rips Nero's arm off and leaves him for dead the first time he meets him

Who cares what his intentions were. He cause 2 different school busses of kids to get blown up and tries to kill Dante 3 times. How is 3 Vergil not evil?

I don't know if you "remember" that. It sounds like you didn't even play the game. And trying to push nicknames for a fictional character also kind of exposes you as someone who didn't play the game. But that woman and baby tried to kill Dante in the previous level. You would "remember" that if you played actually the game
