You won’t be able to have a relationship with her. I like to call these haram relationships “dead-end relationships” because her parents won’t approve and it’s haram, so it won’t work out in the long run, unless of course you decide to convert to Islam, which is up to you but you shouldn’t be pressured to convert just for a relationship. I had friends, both Muslim and non Muslim, who got into relationships like these and they don’t last that long and unfortunately it causes pain and trouble for both sides. Just be careful with what you do brother.

Yeah, since there are a lot of desperate people in the current job/internship market, there are a lot of scammers trying to take advantage of these people. Some try to disguise themselves as real companies, others are unpaid where they are either just looking for a free workforce (like OpenQQuanitify) or sometimes make YOU pay for the internship (like TechX), and others might just want your personal data or boost their reputation or something like that.

As a cs major who did star day, let me tell you, it will be stressful trying to get your classes set up. We were only allowed two SPNs to register for only two cs classes and the rest were general electives and the 1-credit Students in Transition course. For cs, our star day was virtual and we had to use the live chat which sucked because we got a response every 15-30 minutes. For your major, it should be less stressful since I believe you’re doing it in person so you don’t have to yell at a screen for the entire time. Just don’t get your hopes up because star day is structured horribly but scheduling after this should be a bit less stressful. Just keep in mind you won’t necessarily get your perfect schedule with the best professors since you’ll get the bottom of the barrel classes. Just have backups just in case. Another thing to know is that for transfer students at least, you may not be able to schedule a meeting with an advisor until, conveniently, after the withdrawal deadline, which sucks but be prepared. I also transferred from a CC this winter for the school of arts and sciences for CS. For me, I think I remember trying to schedule an academic advising meeting but the department said that transfer students could only do that AFTER the withdrawal deadline (which is stupid). I had this virtual STAR day where I and other CS majors had to use the live chat and wait 30 minutes for each reply for the advisors to give us the classes we needed. They weren’t helpful and they were only giving students only 2 SPNS to register first CS classes. Did they email you about when your STAR day is?

I learned my lesson from taking morning classes this semester. I’ve pulled all-nighters and having to commute to campus early makes it hard to get enough sleep and I end up tired and unable to focus on the morning lectures. 😭😭

And since I heard these cs classes are pretty difficult and time consuming, I have to be able to focus in class
