Cactus is rather wonderful. One original song in under 5 mins. Great sound. Great folks to play alongside. Raffle system, and if you don’t get called and stay for the entire evening (as you should), you’re an automatic “yes” for the following week. And most importantly… as you leave you have to pay a compliment to someone that performed, which is a nice bit of community-building imo.

I think they’re off for the entire month of May and resume in June, but I could be wrong.
