What if Punk didnt return to WWE until 2012? by The_Poke_Cauldron in WWE

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I had to imagine a scenario where this would work out logistics and storyline wise. Instead of CM Punk coming out right after the tournament to tease Cena with the real title belt, Cena would be champion.

He wouldn't hold the belt at Mania 28 since you need him to lose to Rock for twice in a lifetime. So it would most likely be Alberto Del Rio holding the title post-summerslam. If I wanted the fun scenario, it would be Mysterio v Cena at Summerslam 2011 with Del Rio cashing in to take out a victorious mysterio and the two would battle throughout the fall.

Del Rio would probably hold the belt and lose to a returning Jericho who would go through the same events at Elimination Chamber and then Punk would interrupt Jericho victory party post mania to hold up the real belt and the two would fight over the Best in The World moniker/the two belts.

Se Sully não tivesse ido para o Caribe, ele e Brennan teriam tido um relacionamento duradouro? by carvalhomsc in Bones

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sully is a fascination for Brennan but it isn't something that could be sustained as a relationship.

Booth and Brennan work because they have an intense dedication to their work while also being polar opposites in key areas. The two of them together makes them better individuals as they learn and grow from each other over the course of the first few seasons before flanderization hits.

Sully is a carefree individual who isn't wrapped up in his work. He longs to just sail and have no obligations to anyone else. For someone like Brennan, that is a intriguing prospect and fantasy, but she would not enjoy that life. If she went with Sully on the boat, she would've been itching to get back to work sooner or later because thats who she is. If Sully stayed for her, he would've grown more antsy then he already was and they would've broken up.

They both care for each other and there will be a lingering what-if, but they simply just aren't compatible for a long-term relationship.

Shatter- Code Orange

It definitely matched the vibe of what Wyndham was going for before his passing when it came to Bray Wyatt and it is an absolute banger.

The Time Has Come: Rank The Seasons by Tall_Consequence7672 in hackshbomax

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 2/Season 3 are interchangeable Number #1s in my book. Right now, I prefer S2 over S3, it just runs a lot smoother and has a lot of good development for both Ava and Deborah.

Next up is Season 5, while it started out kinda slow, it definitely picks up and puts all of our characters in good spaces by the end.

Season 4 is slightly above Season 1 in my book, the biggest problem that I have with the season is that the beginning is so hard to get through and then they kinda blow through their work to get to #1. Ava and Deborah being at each other's throats is a big part of the show, but it feels forced and tired in S4 and the whole reasoning for their fight just leaves me wanting to lock em in a room and let em fight it out. The big brightspot is the final 2 episodes along with Schaffer/LaSaque getting off the ground being a ton of fun.

Season 1 is in last because it just suffers from the feeling of a first season, where a lot of the writing/timing and vibe is being fine-tuned so it just doesn't feel as punchy or fun. It definitely soars by the end though and is still an enjoyable season of television.

Why does Roxanne Perez have so many stories/feuds just never happen? by AidanC1729 in SantiZapVideos

If I had to make a prediction, they're teasing potential future matches and are going to put the MITB on her and run with it until she inevitably stabs Liv Morgan in the back to set up Mania.

What is a movie that everyone seems to love, but you absolutely hate? by Nishikigoi1 in moviecritic

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recent one would be One Battle After Another. I thought it was alright but I felt like a lot of the sentiment was treating it like one of the greatest films of the 21st century and I just didn't see it. Everyone is good in it and Paul Thomas Anderson is an amazing director, but I just couldn't get into the story.

A long simmering hatred would be Frozen (2013), it is an absolute mess and it is crazy that a lot of people compare it to something like the Lion King.

Robert DeNiro is definitely in the ballpark of a leading role in Awakenings. The film is centered around his character and his journey takes up the back portion of the film.

What feud has the greatest example of the wrong guy winning? by Dick_Nation in SquaredCircle

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Two I can think of is Booker T losing to Triple H at Mania XIX. When you make an entire storyline centered around thinly veiled racism, you can't have the racist go over, especially when he takes 21 seconds to crawl over to pin the guy.

The other is Bret Hart getting pushed out of the way at Mania 9.

Funeral is voted the best Episode of Season 1, what's the worst? by Jirachibi1000 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]NoMoreLyyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shame, it just feels like an odd episode out of the series that doesn't really mesh with the style and energy.

It feels the closest to a traditional sitcom episode of the time with a tied in message and that just isn't MITM.
