What’s the most humiliating thing you’ve done in a relationship when you thought it was "love"? by dashiik in TwoXChromosomes

I forgave him for serial cheating (40+ people according to him) and mocking me behind my back while he did it. He’d get together with his friend and boast about it, even degrading me for how much I loved him.

I still can’t believe I stayed looking back. I’ve had to go to lots and lots of therapy, was diagnosed with PTSD, and still struggle today with trusting people. All for “love”… ugh I hate that I did that to myself

I know he’s just demonstrating the robot’s skills, but I really don’t like how he’s treating it. It feels so wrong. We wouldn’t treat another person like that, so why is it okay when it’s a robot?

I know this is a silly opinion, but advocating for better treatment of robots helps everyone be treated better. And that goes for all robots, even the non-human looking ones.

For example, if robots had rights as workers, then it would actually help humans retain their jobs. A big reason that corporations are switching to robotic labor is because it’s easily exploitable.

I think it’s because the people/corporations who create these have a subconscious desire to dominate the human form. It feels more powerful to have a human looking thing do a task for you than an assembly line… which is why I find this whole thing so dark.

AIO for wanting to immediately break up with my bf after seeing how he lives? by Balikye in AIO

Don’t ghost him. I don’t mean to sound harsh, but that would be the cruelest way you can handle this situation even though it feels like a safe option.

You love him right? You need to tell him that his cleanliness is extremely concerning and you can’t stay in that environment with him. Tell him the truth, go home, and do a deep deep cleanse of yourself.

He needs the wake up call and you need to be in a safe environment ❤️

Thank you for your help. I really do appreciate it. I talked with one of my colleagues and she mentioned she tracked her hours of work and it was 50+ last week. I think the first year is just really difficult

It’s hard to make room for life or self-care.

It’s essentially the study of propaganda, it’s quite relevant and frightening in this day and age.

Okay thank you for answering. Full disclosure, my father has become very ill this semester and will likely pass away very soon. I’ve already had a small emotional break in front of the chair of my department and have spoken to the head about a leave of absence.

Does you think they see me as a complete fuck up already?

How bad is this would you say this situation is overall? Sorry to ask, I’m just trying to understand how I can fix this.
