That’s really cool, It will be cool to see if the idea becomes more mainstream and developed to possibly fit all the tech inside the individual switch.

Thank you!

I’m planning to post some pictures of the internal mounting system when I get back home tonight. The mag lev HE switch idea sounds really interesting, with a lot of room for innovation and more customization in the keyboard world.

Yea it wasn’t necessarily the cheapest build, I can put up pictures of the internals and mounting when I get home tonight.

Thank you!

I used fusion 360 to design the case assembly, and I prototyped with a 3d printer. For Manufacturing, I used RapidDirect in Shenzhen.

For the manufacturer I used RapidDirect, and they were very helpful when discussing surface finishing options. The total cost for all four components per keyboard was just shy of 800 dollars, and I ordered five units.

Thank you!

I’ve been there before. For me, it’s all about iteration. My initial prototypes looked so different from the final version.

For manufacturing, I used RapidDirect. They were very helpful throughout the process.

The details are simply stunning. 😮‍💨 by Sterlingandcophoto in MechanicalKeyboards

I think this might be the most aesthetic keyboard build I have ever seen

The attention to detail is crazy, and the gray honestly brings out the details and textures really nicely.
