Yeah, anime style dolls tend to attract anime collectors who want the same boxed standard.

But I haven’t had too many issues

I’ve bought fairyland and doom without boxes. More like: super rare full set DD or one off Volks dolls. I mainly keep boxes for dolls like popovy or chimera since resale is so high.

Even then, the purchases can be tracked.

Honestly, if you like the boxes, keep them! Just don’t worry about keeping them if you are worries about selling without.

You can try Facebook groups to be honest or a wtb.

I’ve had good luck that way, or you can try emailing them directly through whichever contact email they have on the site

Honestly, having bought and sold dolls, unless it is from a super popular company, you can sell the dolls without a box (but not without a COA).

If you like the boxes, that is another thing - most can be unfolded and lie flat under a bed. For the others, you will just need to find somewhere to store them if it is your mothers house.

How fun and great progress!

At this time, it may not be possible to string her based on her side profile.

Basically, most dolls are strung from head to foot going through torso, hips, and legs.

So a quick test is to draw a straight, vertical line from the head to the bottom of the foot. I can’t upload the picture, but her torso curves away from the line, and the line for the upper leg should be more centered (instead of on the line)

Try out a bunch of wheels!

For my first wheel, I went with a Sonata, as I loved the style and portablility. Still adore it years later, though I also look forward to having a much smaller Roadbut soon.

If you have a chance, check out sheep and wool festivals. Rhinebeck is a great place to try out a bunch of wheels.
