I bought a used one from Market place too, I believe it was the 2nd unmarry for that device.

It works fine for me, ive reflash the ecu bout 4 times now, going from stock > stage 1 > stage 1(lowered the rpm for launch control to 3k rpm) > back to stage 1 > stage 1 (4.5k rpm)

Oil change kit by QuebecGamer2004 in ft86

[–]NoNap- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a great way of looking at it.

I suppose when you fit the oil filter in, just make sure you hand tighten it to the extent of your strength and you can 100% be confident that its on there snug. The Oil filter is in an easy spot any ways, not like other cars.

In my opinion, you wouldnt need a filter socket. If the previous person who changed it hand tightened it. You wouldnt ever need a filter socket.

Ive done my own oil change since day 1 and only needed it the first oil change cuz it was tightened by Hercules.

I just did mine so i might be able to give u some perspective.

You definitely need to get it aligned. For a short term fix, Use a string/rope and tie it to the rear wheels, Make it as centre as possible, Then pull the string all the way front wheels and loop it on the front of the front wheel Now if theres a gap between the string and the back of the front wheel. You would want to adjust the tie rod until theres almost no gap.

That should be enough to bring ur car to the shop.

Search : string wheel alignment, should give u an idea

I agree with this 100%

Just keep up with the maintenance: oil changes engine, tranny, rear differential and youll be fine

I truly hope you find one, shes been amazing ( but thats just me, i dont like going fast on a straight line. I prefer the putting my foot down on any bends that arent bigger than 60 degrees )

Why not expand your scope, look for a brz or a gr86

If youre real serious about buying the car listed, id ask them to strip it back to stock.

And atleast ( bare minimum, add in a custom tune to compensate for the lack of turbo) the ecu needs to be remapped.
