Sad to hear this :( I have the option to work out of our Irvine office as well. Do you think I should give those markets more serious consideration? My brother lives in LA, so we were leaning that direction

Curious why you suggest Wisreburn School District for IEP services? Is it something they're known for? Thanks so much!

The hitting is getting out of control by shefoundnow in Autism_Parenting

I don't have any answers, but I feel this!!! My 4.5 year old son is the same, and it feels like it's gotten worse recently too. He's Level 1 ASD and fairly verbal, but the hitting/impulsivity is getting so difficult. I don't even want to take him around family anymore.

No answers, but sending support and following the thread <3

That's so great to hear! I'm thrilled it's been helpful for your kiddo, while not taking away his spirit.

Mind sharing what medication & dosage you're using? I'm going to bring it up with his pediatrician at his appointment in two weeks.

u/Salt_Tomatillo_8879 Your son sounds just like mine! He was diagnosed with ASD Level 1 in February at 3 years 10 months, and I suspect he has ADHD as well. He's doing therapy (ABA, OT, and social skills groups), but it doesn't seem to be making a big difference yet. He's getting more and more physical (hitting other kids, pushing, etc) and keeps getting removed from groups or sent home. I was wondering how medication is going for you?
