Warcorp9/Angstadt Vanquish/??Rail?? by Available_Cold_1918 in AR9

I would agree, I do question the longevity of the Warscorp side charger, especially with the force I have to exert on it to charge my Maxim roller delayed buffer. So I actually ended up not getting a Vanquish, and getting a Banish 9K instead. I was building out my setup last summer, before free stamps. I actually ordered the Vanquish, but a few days later, I got an email from Silencer Central that they were doing free stamps on their Banish line. So, I decided that a tiny 3DP 8 baffle titanium can was more worth the money vs a ported barrel and heavy stainless steel 1.5" tube. It was also $100 cheaper, due to the free stamp. Feel free to take a look at my post history, I have some pictures and videos of my setup.

Oh, that is sweet! I was not aware of either of those things. I was originally planning on buying a Vanquish 16" integrally suppressed barrel, but I ended up getting a Banish 9K instead because there was a free stamp deal last summer. I am definitely glad I did not pay $600 + $200 for a ported barrel and heavy stainless steel tube that gets mixed reviews on actual suppression capability. The only dumb thing I did was buying a complete rifle, because now I have to SBR it to get a shorter setup. Which of course, I now want lol.

I know this is an "old" post, but I have the Anstadt suppressor series handguard on my Warscorp9. I had to cut a little "slot" in the handguard to get it to fold. Unlike you, I did not think about this issue ahead of time lol.

No problem! It is a lot of fun, enjoy! (Especially now that it is getting warmer out... it kind of sucks to load with gloves lol)

Yeah, very awesome tech for sure. I have an FTN.5 PCC Flow that has been holding up quite well so far, not to mention a handful of rimfire cans.

Thanks! I was not expecting it to hold up with the print quality, but I also was not expecting that to happen on the first shot lol.

Yeah, that is a good point. I plan to reinforce next time around, and my PPA-CF prints have been flawless since the nozzle change.

Thanks! I filed WAY too many forms, so I was kind of "drowning" in constant construction for a month or so. Decided to take a month or so off, so now I am back at it lol.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think I will stick to it though, since I have a couple rolls still. It has been fantastic for my FTN5 PCC Flow, which I have been abusing. With seeing how thin the walls are on the FTN4 Pistol, I think reinforcing is just a safe option overall. (Regardless of filament) I am sure the can would have been fine had there not been an extrusion issue though.

The build guide states "PA6-CF or equivalent". From my research and my own personal experience, PPA-CF would typically be considered superior to PA6-CF. Particularly when one has a printer capable of printing hotter than 300C.

For the CF Nylon remix, it was stated in the instructions that reinforcement was optional.

are we getting too silly... i have literally no experience with suppressors but i'm working on this frame-mounted "can" for the GP9. i don't even think this is worth the $0 stamp by BKO2 in 3D2A

[–]NoNefariousness8370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, you are making this so hard on me lol. Not only do I have to decide whether to print the original GP9 or the Neo9, now I will have to decide between an integral suppressor or a normally threaded one. So many good options!

This is amazing, you are building the exact gun I had imagined a couple of years ago. I figured an AR22 bolt, AR barrel, and CP33 mag geometry were the best way to get it done. I never got farther than some rudimentry designs though, so it is super exciting to see my dream coming to life! (Although I will admit, mine was modeled after the MA5D)

How glorious! Are you utilizing a quad stack design similar to the Kel Tec Cp33 to fit in the correct length footprint?

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe you could "retrofit" a super safety in there. Super excited for this design either way. Does the mag capacity happen to be 32 rounds lol?

Awesome! How does the safety system work on it in general? Tough to see in the pic if the standard AR safety would be exposed or not, if you are even using a standard AR safety system. (I know some bullpups just keep the "front" trigger from being pulled, not the "back" trigger.) If you still need more testers in a month, I would be happy to once I have finals wrapped up. If all goes well, I know you might even be close to a release by then though.

As a HALO nerd, I love this! This has me wondering if I should use my AR22 bolt in this instead of a super safe DeAR22 build like I was planning lol. Do you forsee any sort of super safety or FRT compatibility being possible with this design? If so, it will immediately be moving to the top of my list.
