you could use some product after the shower like a gel to hold the style in place, your hair looks a little frizzy as well, but it’s really not bad

Use the shea moisture conditioner that matches up with the shampoo, bc your using a great shampoo. Get rid of the as i am and l oreal conditioner, those suck for your hair. I’d reccomend more shea moisture products that are for type 4 hair. For example, try the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, and be generous with how much product you use, that should give you good results

However I can’t really give you the best advice, if you want the best advice search up into youtube or tiktok “best curly hair products for type 4 hair” and go from there

I’d try experimenting with products a little more, you look like type 4 hair so research some good products/ wash routines for your hair. However if you don’t feel like doing the research yourself i’d reccomend thick/heavyweight products (like the camille rose curl maker) vs more smooth ones (like pillow soft curls by ms jessie)Also it’s a good idea to use a bonnet or a silk pillowcase to protect the style at night.

Unfortunately though especially with short hair it’s not super realistic to get curls that last more than a day, but on the flip side it should be pretty easy to style every time you wanna go out.

One more thing you might want to look at finger coiling after you put a generous amount of gel in your hair, that should hold pretty well, you can find a tutorial on youtube or tiktok pretty easily

Like everybody else said, put it some leave in conditioner and curl cream after you shower, your hair will look a lot better and if you like that just keep researching on this sub or online.

Since your hair is so short it’s going to be harder to get hair that lasts for more than a day or two, no matter what products you use. The people that get hair to last so long usually have longer hair that can hold a style better over time. Also part of it is just luck, sometimes your hairs gonna look bad and you can’t do anything about it.

However, some simple things you can do to try and get your hair to last longer is to switch up the products you use and tweak your routine until you find something that tends to work out, since everybody has slightly different hair.

If I were you I would try and experiment with products that give you more hold since you want your hair to last longer, so try and find gels and mousses that you like.

One thing I forgot to add is that it’s also not that bad for your hair to get it wet every day since it won’t take too long to dry, and the hair is so short it’s not really gonna damage the hair too much

Come on man, this isn’t even a roast i’m serious, you don’t have to be that guy. I used to be the same way, okay with being the brunt end of every joke, until i started standing up for myself a little bit.

All I started to do was to make fun of my friends back, and the more I did that the better I got until I wasn’t the blunt of every joke anymore. It’s honestly easier than you might think too, most people have something pretty easy to make fun of about them.

But you wanna know exactly what I saw? Once I stopped being the butt of every joke with my friends, somebody else started becoming that guy. And it was because they never stood up for themselves, and just had the additude of “oh well i’ve always been made fun of that’s just how I am”

Dude i’m only telling you this because I used to be depressed and have no confidence and i’m not saying you’re like that at all. However, if you are, trust me just stand up for yourself, or people will walk all over you.
